Back AGAIN! Sad, I know.

  • So this is like my 4th time doing this....I was super faithful and lost 31 lbs (209-178) earlier this year. I did it for my friends wedding....well as soon as that was over I just quit everything. On top of it, my husband got a job out of town, and my gym time was no longer an option. So, 178 has turned into 187.

I went to the doctor for my physical last week, and he complimented me on my loss. Apparently a year ago I was 217, which I did not remember. He encouraged me to get back on the wagon.

I realized there is no point in giving up after so much success, so I am pulling up my boot straps and diving back in. I got a membership at the YMCA and they have on site childcare. No more no sitter excuses for me! I have gone faithfully this week, and the kids are loving the kid activites too! I am excited. Now to just get my eating under control!! Thats the hard part for me.

Looking forward to all the challenges and the added motivation you girls are so good at helping me with!

    New goals:
    Current: 187
30th B-day (I am gonna get kicked out of the 20's board??) Oct 6- 179.99
    Halloween 175
    Thanksgiving 169
    New Years 159
    Valentines 149
    Easter 135 final goal
  • It's always a great idea to focus on what you have accomplished rather than what you haven't!!! Hence mini goals.. to remind you that you have accomplished something, even if it isn't the end result yet.
You did not gain all of the weight back - that is an accomplishment on its own. Congrats!!!

Eating is a big problem for me. I love food so much! Have been trying a few green smoothie recipes and so far so good. It's a great way to keep myself from overeating on the bad things. I just make a few jars every couple of days and suck em back till they're gone. No excuses for not eating my fruits and veggies!

I love that you have mini goals - I am not even that far yet! I am pretty new but, glad to have you 'back'
  • Its not sad that you are back again! I am back again myself. I had lost weight, then over the summer gained back all that I lost. But instead of continuing to beat myself up over it, im just going to start again!

I love the mini-goals.. I have something similar myself. Good luck!

Oh and I don't think anyone would kick you out. I just turned 29 on August 25th, so I only have a year left here.. haha.
  • You'll do so well!
  • Thanks for the warm welcome-backs! I really need the motivation and my original 30 would never have come off without this board and its members!
