I used to have the most horrible, painful cracked heels. They are now completely healed.
Losing the weight and eating healthfully I'm sure is what is keeping them well, but to get to this point I bought a ped-egg thingy and sanded them down regularly (at least 2x a month) and put A & D ointment on them every night. I also put lotion on them after every bath/shower.
Now I sand them down about once a month and smear them with A&D ointment when I'm done...and do the lotion daily.
Thanks for bringing this up...yet another thing to add to my list of great things that happened as a result of weight-loss.
