Sue it's like being alone on an island no being able to keep up with your friends without a computer. I go into withdrawal. (That's why I keep an extra one or two around) Even though it's like going back to the dark ages using a dial up connection after being used to DSL, it's better than not having a puter at all. And this one I'm using has a mind of it's own. It will connect to the net sometimes, and sometimes it won't. Hopefully my new laptop will be here soon.

Dad had a bad day yesterday, of course they have excuses for it. He was "still drugged from the sleeping pill" all day yesterday, so my Mom said that she wasn't going to let him have one last night!! I talked to a woman who was my best friend since 1st grade last night. First time I've talked to her in two or three years (funny how this thing with my dad is affecting me) but anyway she is having almost the same problems with her parents!!! Made me feel a little better knowing someone else can relate to the total fustration I'm feeling.+
Will someone tell my cat to sit over there and finish filing her claws and leave the computer keyboard alone!!!
Well my job didn't get phased out at work, the new computer system didn't work out. After almost a month of trying to make it work, we gave up and sent it back, so life goes on.
I can't seem to keep out of the candy jar at work, so needless to say I'm not staying OP, hopefully I'll get back soon (before I do too much damage)

Debkay: my 12 y/o nephew is in middle school this year and he's taking trombone lessons so he can be in the band in high school. Will you bake his band cookies too?
Annie: Where are you? At the gym exercising I hope. do some for me too. I've also bee laxin that dept too. There are only so many hours in a day and I've been using some of my gym-time to go to the hospital. Ready to get back on track with that too.
