The Diabetic Type 2 Plan as promiced

  • Fruits: 15 grams per sitting
    Non starchy veggies: as much as you want!
    Try to eat 9 servings a day

    Grains Beans Starchy veggies: No more then 15 grams a meal

    Breads Pastas:No more than 10 to 15 grams a day; less is good.

    Milk: 15 grams per sitting
    Calcium rich products: 2 to 3 a day

    Meats Fish Poultry: 2 to 3 oz day
    Fish 2 to 3 times a week

    Juice: Pretty much avoid, especially the ones on the shelf. If you must drink juice, make it yourself if you can. Ones on the market all have sugar added unless says no sugar added.

    Tea: 1 cup daily. Noncaffine, no sugar

    Snack on nuts once a day.

    Portion Control where ever you go:
    Fist = 1 cup
    Palm = 3 oz
    Handful = 1 to 2 oz depending on size of material
    Thum = 1 oz
    Thumb tip=1 teaspoon

    P.S. I personally think the carb grams is still too high and you can adjust accordingly. I did. I cut back on the bread part and milk.
