Congrats! I have my own NSV that I forgot to post. I had to add a second new hole on my belt this weekend!

I am GREAT! Thanks for asking. My first week has been wonderful. I am so anxious to get through my first weigh in on Thursday that I feel like a kid waiting for Santa! I have been on my scale every day and I can see that I am losing, but I will wait for my weigh in to post an official number.

I am curious, I see people using "NSV" frequently. What does this stand for? I was guessing "new signature verse" based on the context I saw it used on several occasions. Curious.

nsv=non-scale victory.

i.e. going down to a new pant size, putting a 2nd hole in your belt(congrats naturalgirl!!), things of that nature

It means Non Scale Victory. It is really helpful especially if you are not seeing the scale budge, or it is going the wrong way. So, say your pants are loose, or your SO comments on a positive aspect of your body. Even resisting temptations are NSVs to some, as it keeps everything in perspective.

OK Girls I just had to post this!!!! I have had a beautiful white blouse that I bought about 6 yrs ago and NEVER have been able to wear....AND....today I tried it on and I got it BUTTONED UP!!!!!!!!!! I was sooo excited!!!!!

Today is day 6 and day 5 was awful. I felt horrible and was seriously considering giving up, but hung in there and woke up this morning feeling great. I'm finally in ketosis and not starving all the time. Yay me!

Too funny. Good for you! I put on a blouse this morning and I could not button the bottom button. I almost took it off. Then I decided I would wear it to work just to make a bigger impression when it does button in a couple weeks. Seems silly now, but that was actually what I did.
