I just found out that my mother is coming in to town at the end of October so I am little concerned about letting her see me the way I am (280lbs). The last she saw me I was around 230 and the look on her face absolutely broke my heart. I know I can't lose enough weight to look thin again by the time she gets here but I would like to see results so that I can have more confidence in front of her. I was thinking about joining 24 hour Fitness. I have had a membership before with Ballys Total Fitness, if anyone has that around them, although they are slowly going out of business and have fewer locations (plus I owe them money). I have a 24H right down the street and am considering very much so joining...I'm just wondering if anyone else has ir is using them and is confident in their business?

I like the gym well enough. mine can get kind of packed around 7-9 so that is a down side. other than that i dont really have anything negative to say.
