Exercise Challenge June 1 -June 30

  • Alright it's that time again.... I decided to bump it up to a full month vs. just the 3 weeks so this months challenge will be for the month of June.

    I pledge 19 work outs over the next 30 days for 45 minutes each.

    And yes this will start TOMORROW (seeing how today is Memorial Day).

    Who is with me?!

    And CONGRATS to everyone who met their goals for the last challenge!
  • I'm in. I totally fell off the last challenge, and workouts in general, mid-May. I do so much better with diet when I'm working out. I really need this boost right now.

    I'm going to aim for 15 workouts. An ambitious goal considering I will be on holiday (and not working out) for a full 7 days.


    I can do this!

    P.S. - Would anyone mind if I keep a running list of the challenge? I'm a visual person so it helps me get the big picture of what I'm doing and what I'm not doing.

    Ex.
    June 1st. - 30 minutes elliptical
    June 2nd - 1 hr walking
    June 3rd - Nothing! Ah, oh no!

    seeing that i am new to this thing and all, and seeing that the general advice is to include workout 3 days for a week, so for this month of June, my exercise goal would be....

    12 workouts.

    yay..hum..writing this is nice for my nonexistence motivation..

    3 JUNE : 1km jog around the lake with a friend..
    4,5,6 & 7 JUNE : nothing...this is not good. need to do something tomorrow.
    8 JUNE : 1km jog around the lake.alone..
    9 JUNE : the lake

    17 june i have to go back home for a month semester break. no internet connection back there. not sure i can fine one to update this.


    29 JUNE : Clearing the backyard..


    i cant do any workout at home...well no 'cant' just wont.. so 6workout done over 12 goal.
  • I'm aiming for 20 workouts at least 45 mins thats 5 times a week. I have a vacation to the beach with friends i only see once a year the end of july and want to look my best so i need to kick it up a notch with workouts and food the next 2 months.
  • I'm trying to Walk at least 5 Days a Week! 30 Minutes to 1 1/2 Hrs.
  • I'm going to aim for 20 hours of exercise

    Walking- 90 minutes
    Gym- 40 minutes
    Steps- 40 minutes
    Stretching/Aerobics/Yoga- 20 minutes
  • 25 days for me! 3 days of weight training and 2 or 3 days of cardio per week. Hopefully I can keep it up during my drive across country starting mid June. Do my workout videos in my hotel rooms Ahhh
  • I'm definitely in!!! I don't think I will have as much time available as I did this month since I am spending about a week or so driving across Canada with a friend of mine, but we shall see!

    Realistically, I am going to say 17 and hope for more!
  • I'll be in San Diego for a week but I'm going to try really hard to still workout while I'm there... My goal is 26 workouts an hour each
  • My June goal is 22 workouts!

    Each between 60 and 120 minutes
  • I will pledge 20 work outs, so 5 days a week.

    It's going to be tough with friends coming to visit in 2 weeks. I'll work some hikes into her vacation! Lol.
  • I'm in again! Last month's challenge really kept me motivated. I'm going to make goals for both cardio and strength training again. So, I'll say 20 cardio workouts (at least 45 minutes) and 10 strength workouts.
  • I'm in for 20 on-schedule workouts - time to get back on track for the wedding in July!

  • I'm in - this is great! 20 workouts at least 45 min over the next 30 days. Will be a mix of cardio and cardio/strength.
  • Can we do days instead? I sometimes do more than one workout a day and I get myself confused on my count. If so I wanna say 23 days of workouts of at least 45min each day.
