  • Another month everyone! Please share what you are reading.

I have The Blind Side up next. Been meaning to read it before seeing the movie.
  • I'm reading You Suck by Christopher Moore but I've just realized it's a sequel to a book I read a LONG time ago so I'm going to leave off with this one and pick it up after I re-read the first one.

I'm also the last person to get around to reading Julie & Julia: My Year of Cooking Dangerously by Julia Powell. I'm sorry I waited to so long.
  • "Peony in Love" by Lisa See. An interesting Chinese ghost story. I will be reading "Shanghi Girls" next by the same author next.
  • Out of Africa - Isak Dinesen - I've only ever seen the movie.

The Friday Night Knitting Club - Kate Jacobs

Bitter is the New Black - Jen Lancaster

And I'd like to get my hands on a copy of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
  • Cruise Confidential
  • Still reading The City & The City, but I only have my e-book on loan from the library for another day, so I'm going to have to finish the last 100 pages today. Next in store is Dark Places, and I have a couple "real" paperbacks to read once I'm done those two.
  • I'll be cruising this thread for a while. Been wanting to read something but not sure what. I did see Shanghai girl the other day, wondered how that was. With 3 little ones in toe its kinda hard to stop to read the cover page on the book.
  • Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut, still working on Hotel of Irrevocable Acts by Carl Watson, and about to start Emma by Jane Austen
  • Drop Shot by Harlan Coben
  • I am working on Codependent No More by Melody Beattie - might have to read this one twice - I think up next is the last Twilight Book (again). I would also like to finally read The End of Overeating - it's been sitting around for month!
  • I have a couple of more chapters left in The Blind Side.
  • A Storm of Swords - George R.R. Martin (3rd in a series A Song of Ice and Fire --Fantasy Genre little on the dark side)
  • chelsea chelsea bang bang by chelsea handler and then little nuggets of wisdom by chuy bravo

i love chelsea handler so of course i have to read her books. she is hilarious!

after those 2 i have wicked, the notebook (even though i've already seen the movie i wanna read the book) and the wedding (also by nicholas sparks)
  • On the Road by Jack Kerouac
  • Pretty Woman by Fern Michaels. I saw this on the thread about weightloss fiction. I'm about halfway through. I wish she had fleshed out the characters a bit more, they seem a tad cardboard, I don't get a good sense of them; they are just there.
