NSVs!---care to share?

  • So, after learning what NSV means, I am realizing some pretty cool and inspiring NSVs I have experienced since I started eating healthier.

    1. My too-tight jeans are now baggy! Not a cute look, but I like it!
    2. I walked to a location today that usually would have left me tired once I returned, or I would have felt tired on the round trip. Yet, I felt ok. I didn't dread the return trip, and I made it without feeling uncomfortable or too out of shape.

What NSVs have you experienced lately? Are any of them more encouraging than weightloss on the scale?
  • I've gone down a whole pants size! I love seeing the number drop on the scale, but slipping on a pair of pants that I couldn't get over my hips before I started is even better! And, I look soooo much better now that I'm wearing pants that fit. I'm getting rid of all my clothes as they become too loose. There is nothing flattering about a pair of jeans with a saggy, baggy butt.
  • The most recent was this morning - I just found out I lost a total of 6.5 inches in the last month... too cool!

I lost a pant size sometime last month, and now those pants are baggy (but I'm saving my money and will wear them until even a belt doesn't help lol)

And in a meeting I had to go in last week, my thighs didn't hurt from being crush in the stupid chairs in the conference room. This one was very significant to me. It is really terrible to come out of a meeting (and to sit through it) in so much pain. I was still smooshed, but I didn't get bruised; it meant a lot to me.

The chair thing bugs me alot! I will be happy when I can fit better in chairs in professional settings.
