RED TEAM Last Chance Workout - Week 10 (3/8-3/14)

  • Welcome to the Red Team Exercise Challenge!!

    For an effective weight loss program it is important to incorporate exercise as well as making better dietary choices. While any kind of exercise is good for you, it has been proven many times over that just cardio or just strength training isn't the way to go...you need to have a combination of both, with a little bit of core focus as well. So as you plan out and track your exercise this week, be sure to get in 2-3 strength workouts and 2-3 cardio sessions. And don't forget about those abs!

  • Monday- 2 Laps at Medlock Park (aprx. 3 miles)
    Tuesday- off
    Wednesday- off
    Thursday- 33 min recumbent bike and 15 min arc trainer

    Friday- elliptical and WT
    Saturday- Stn Mtn loop (5 miles) *weather permitting
    Sunday- Stn Mtn loop (5 miles) *weather permitting
  • Keep Moving!

    Monday- 40 min walk, >10,000 steps
    Tuesday- 20 min walk
    Wednesday- 40 min aerobics (20 min step aerobics, 20 min hi/lo aerobics, 20 min core), >10,000 steps
    Thursday- rest day
    Friday- 45 min aerobics (cardio pump), 20 min treadmill run, >10,000 steps, 60 min walking
    Saturday-20 min walk, >10,000 steps
    Sunday- 30 min walk,
