I quit smoking 10 days ago, and didn't even know it until 2 days ago!
Because I knew I needed something to replace the cigs or I would eat everything in sight, I tried the electronic cigarette, and it is AWESOME! I haven't had a single craving, I have NOT gained any weight, and further more, my doctor told me (two days ago) that it counts as nicotine replacement therapy, not as smoking. My sense of taste, and of smell, have drastically improved, and I still feel like I have something to do with my hands, and my time, unlike my previous attempts. I have tried to quit at least 20 times previously, some as long as 2 weeks, but stress always made me pick it back up again.
For those of you who need to quit, but are afraid to because of the seemingly automatic weight gain, this might be the answer. There are many styles, but most recommend the Joye 10 (as do I) as a basic one to start out with.
Has anyone else used this method and found it good? Has anyone tried it but it did not work?
