I'm not sure where to post this, so I hope this is the right spot.
I have been wearing size 14 pants for quite a while now (happily, I might add since I was barely fitting into 18's when I started). Anyway, I have been thinking that I should try on the 12's that I have had sitting in my closet, but was putting it off and putting it off. Finally, today, I got the courage to try them on and guess what? They were too big around the waist! So, I thought that maybe it was just *those* particular pants. I tried on another pair that was from a store that would run true to size (as far as I know). Anyway, to make a long story short....they were huge on me! Not quite like a potato sack, but really while standing there, the waist was not touching my body!
I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! So, I'm BEYOND excited, but also annoyed with myself because I spent a long time having nothing much to wear and I could have been enjoying these cute pants. I have size 10's in my closet so I decided, what the hey, I'll just see how much more I have to go. It's a no go. I looked like a sausage!
I was able to button them, but there was hardly room to breath so I guess I"m in limbo land. I have to wait another month or month and a half (I'm guessing) before I can wear these 10's. I'm SOOOO excited! I just had to share. So yea, I'm annoyed, but not too much!
