Does any one know the WW point on this:
Dreamsicle Cake
1 lemon or orange cake mix
10oz. diet 7-up
1 pkg. orange kool-aid
Mix these ingred and follow baking directions for cake(bake at 350 in greased pan)
When cake cools, use fork to poke holes all over. Mix a small box of sugar free orange jello with a cup of boiling water and a cup of cold water. Pour over cake and chill at least 3 hrs.
Once chilled, mix 1 small box of sugar-free, fat- free instant vanilla pudding, 1 small box of sugar free jello and 1 cup skim milk. Once mixed add 1 8 oz. container of fat free Cool Whip. This is the frosting.
Sounds great--if I don't get a response I'll try to figure it out--thought maybe someone else had already gone to the trouble.

when I first read it but since I LOVE cake
I just had to try it.
I used a Betty Crocker (has less calories and fat than Duncan Hines) Lemon Supreme cake mix and a diet Sprite for my cake and I cooked it according to the temp and time directions on the box - when it came out I poked holes all over the top and mixed a cup of boiling water and a box of FF SF lemon jello and then poured it over the cake. I put it in the refrigerator over night and Easter morning I topped it with 1 - 8 oz. carton of FF cool whip. It was a HUGE success with all my family - they didn't believe me when I told them what I used in it. It is wonderful - I will make it again but next time I think I'll jazz up the cool whip with some FF SF dry pudding mix and some crushed pineapple mixed into it and put it over an orange cake - can't wait for that one - sort of like a mandarine orange cake which my DH loves! Try the cake and you'll be a believer too -
