  • I have been noticing some things that have only happened while I've been losing weight. So I thought I'd start a thread where we can all share some signs that a person is losing. It can be funny, serious, whatever. Have fun!


    I'll go first:
    You know you're losing weight when... you are having a 'fat day' and still fit fine in your 'skinny' pants.
  • when a cute delivery guy does a double take and smiles.lol and yes I am married
  • When the fat pants I just bought aren't staying up on my butt! LOL!
  • When you have to pull up your trousers each time you stand up!
  • When you gain a few extra pounds but can remember when you celebrated getting to that point!
  • When your co-workers already know not to ask if you want any of the food they're ordering in
  • -When you start to become someone's skinny friend

    -When suddenly, you realize there is too much cleavage showing because your shirts are too baggy
  • ... when your pants don't stay where they should anymore
  • --When your underwear keeps falling down even though you are wearing pants....and yes, the pants are saggy too.

    --When that burger just doesn't seem that great any more

    --When you are running on the treadmill and actually smiling

    ---When you can lift more than that "skinny girl in the gym whose hair always stays perfect during her workout"
  • -- When you complain about having to buy new, smaller pants ALREADY! This ish is getting expensive and I've got a long way to go

    -- When you're genuwinely upset about missing a workout

    -- When you think "so that's what belts are for!"

    -- When you no longer consider Wendy's as an option when deciding what to eat.

    -- When you fridge is full of FOOD, not just sodas to go with your take-out
  • When you dont get terrible heartburn after every meal you eat..

    When you can sit down at your desk without an uncomfortable roll making you suck in all the time.

    When you look in the mirror and do a double take and realize you are getting smaller.

    When you find yourself reviewing facebook pics and noticing you can really see a differnce in your face.

    Those are just some of mine.. And the pants thing.. I am always pulling up my pants..
  • --When you have the very real fear that your pants will fall completely off when you stand up.

    --When you're hungry...and you just ate!

    --When you go to scratch your shoulder...and feel bones!

    --When you see someone eating pizza and say, "That looks awesome", but don't eat any when they offer.

    --When you wake up hungry
  • -When you climb the stairs and work or home, and you're not out of breath!

    -When I'm done my workout and and drenched in sweat (I know, ew) it feels so good b/c I know I worked hard

    -When you can actually feel your ribs!

    -When you walk by the pop or candy machine and don't even do a double take!

    -When a belt becomes a neccessity instead of an option
  • When you realize you're not the fattest person in the room/class/meeting anymore! (this is my current favorite! )

    When people start making the "you're wasting away" comments.

    When you can walk into a dressing room and not worry about whether or not the clothes will fit... and then you don't buy them because you don't like them, not because they're too small!
  • --When you put on a pair of pants thinking "I just bought these a month ago, they'll be fine without a belt" and then later when you're walking around you find out how wrong you are and that you really should have thought to grab a belt...lol

    --When you can't remember the last time you were able to fit into that shirt...but you think it might have been almost 10 years ago.

    --When you are actually TIRED of seeing your pants size go down, because you honestly don't have the money to go buy any more pants.

    --When your underwear start to sag so much that your pants can't even keep them up anymore...

    --When you're finally the smaller friend.
