Sitting here in my Levi's....

    I went to the Goodwill today to drop some things off (yes, stuff that is way too big for me these days!).

    While I was there I picked up a few tops and (drumroll please) a pair of size 18 Levi's! Not a plus size -- a regular 18!!!! Now this is big to me because I've wanted a pair of Levi's forever but I could never get anything to fit my ample rear end.

    It's weird wearing a pair of pants that have no give to them (I usually have blue jeans that are trouser cut with a touch of spandex-2% or so). Yet, here I sit at the desk comfortable, wearing my Levi's.

    Makes me feel young again......

    And if that weren't enough...I only paid $3.99 for them and they look like they have never been worn!

    Life is good for this 49 year old woman!!!!

    That is wonderful! I want a pair of jeans. It has been 30 years since I have worn jeans. I have not been able to find any that fit so I decided to wait until I lose a little more. Getting size 18 jeans is a big deal! Congrats!

    I know without a doubt I could wear a more modern and flattering pair of jeans but these take me back to being 16 y/o in the '70s. Think hiking boots, a thick sweater and John Denver playing in the background.....I was such a geek!

    In my opinion, there is nothing better in the world than a great pair of good old fashioned pair of button fly Levi's!

    Congrats!

    When I am at my optimum weight, 145, they make my butt look

    Unfortunately, the last time I wore them, (30-34's) my horse bucked me off and the ambulance had to come and get me, and they CUT them OFF! I was heartbroken. That was worse than the pain and the bruises. They were good and broke in, comfy and looked hot!

    Looking forward to another pair!
