Daily Exercise Check In

  • So, it takes about 3 weeks to build a habit; how about 2! That's hos long we have left in January, I month that Im sure has goten many of you motivated and jump started your weight loss. Let's go into February with a new habit: doing something physical everyday. Workout, walking to the market, rough housing with your kids, sex, anything!! Here's a place where we can all be accountable for each other (Lord knows I need it!!) and keep the momentum rolling into next month.

    If you're in just copy and paste, you know the deal.

    1/14:20 minutes of Tae Bo
    1/15:2.5 mile walk jog and 30 minutes of merengue, cha cha, and samba
    1/16: Didn't workout today.
    1/17: Billy Blank's Bootcamp, 30 mins. It's raining in LA (go figure) so no running today.
    1/18: 30 minutes of Ultimate Bootcamp (good grief!) & a 30 minute walk after the rain
    1/19: no workout but I ate clean and met up with old friends.
    1/20: thought i was gonna get to run today but no, stupid rain! 20 mins tae bo, 20 mins yoga.
    I MISS THE GYM!!!!
    1/21: 1.2 mile walk/jog
    1/22: 15 mins treadmill and dancing with lil sis.
    1/23: 50 mins treadmill w/ arm work
    1/24: no workout
    1/25: 30 mins on treadmill, 20 push ups, 25 sit ups, 25 crunches
    1/26: i dont know how i got off with writing down my workouts but i havent missed any days! where did they go?! why does it look like i've skipped two days?! i made a mistake somewhere, but i have worked out everyday.

    1/28:20 mins on the treadmill, nothing major

  • I like this,l I was just talking to my friend about how going to the gym needed to be habit.

    1/14: 2 hours of raquetball, 30 mins on the elliptical
    1/15: 30 mins raquetball, 30 mins weight lifiting.
    1/16: Rest Day
    1/17: Rest Day
    1/18: 30 mins raquet ball, 30 mins weight lifting
    1/19: 17 mins elliptical, 10 mins walking, 30 mins weight lifting, 13 mins stationary bike
    1/20: 30 mins elliptical, 30 mins weight lifting

    1/14: 30 minutes of bodyweight exercises..3 miles on the treadmill
    1/15: 30 minutes bodyweight exercises...30 minutes powerwalking outside
    1/16: day off!
    1/17: 30 minutes bodyweight exercises
    1/18: 3 miles in a park with fresh air
    1/19: 3 mile park walk beautiful weather again
    1/20: ran up and down 20 flights of stairs ( my butt cheeks hurt )
    1/21: 30 minutes bodyweight exercises
    1/22: 30 minutes gymnastics core workout 30 mintues on the treadmill
    1/23: 30 minutes jumping rountne 30 minutes treadmill uphill
    1/24: day off ahhhh
    1/25: 20 minutes bodyweight exercises 2 mile walk in 30 minutes
    1/26: 30 minutes on treadmill 20 minutes bodyweight exercises:
    1/27: 20 minutes killer leg and lung workout
    1/28: 20 minutes gymnastics upper body workout 30 minutes on treadmill

    1/15: ...Housework? I'm telling you, that mopping and hoovering and dancing to music really got me going!

  • I'm glad someone bumped this thread. I couldn't find it. ;( I will add in my stats in a min. Yeah well I played raqeutball twice that day, once with one friend, and then again with another.

    Only starting today, but hopefully I can make it through the month. I HATE working out so this is a big challenge.

    1/20: 35 Minutes of Cardio with BL "Cardio Max"
    1/21: 25 Minutes of Cardio with BL "Cardio Max" + 20 minutes of run/walk in my neighborhood

  • Ok I'm totally joining for the last week. keep in mind I have fibromyalgia and I just got off 2 weeks of bedrest! I'm focusing on getting back my strength before I ramp up my cardio. Unfortunately muscle is easily lost and hard won for me. could be worse tho! Ok!
    1/25 Ok so I did my bodyweight exercises (takes me about 8 min and I'm SHAKING afterward!) and I ran on my mini-trampoline for 5 min. Limited to just that today since I'm still sore from my first workout in weeks on Saturday! Getting stronger! I just KNOW it!
