  • Awesome!
  • WOOOOO! Thats awesome work!
  • AWESOME!! Congratulations! I used to be able to do real ones in high school when I was in good shape. I've been working out consistently for about 2 months now and I still have to do them on my knees! My arms got sooooo weak!
  • Thats so awesome, I am so clumsy and have weak ankles so I don't attempt push ups like ever.
  • lol, that's awesome!
  • Woot thats awesome!! I always do them on my knees but need to start working on some real ones too

Yeah!! That's something that will make you feel good!! I can hardly do 5 girl pushups. So, I'm jealous!!
  • Way to go!!

Totally! I was doing them on my knees for about 5 months and I remember how my arms would shake and I would just drop! I am so proud of how fit I have become as far as strength!

Thank you everyone for all you love and support!
  • I cant do just ONE lousy real push up personally! Way to go!
  • How did you do it?

Oh man....I admire you. Push ups are my arch enemy. I can kick a door down with these thighs but cant do 1 stinkin push up. I have this freakish lower body strength that just does not translate to the arms.
  • Thats amazing!
  • Dude! I am so sharing this awesomeness with you, because yesterday I did 10 real push-ups in a row! I was fitness testing for my aerobics class so I did those and then another 25 on my knees.

Let me tell you, 6 weeks ago I could not do a single real push-up. I would lower myself down and then my arms would quiver and I would collapse. Doing one was such a huge accomplishment for me, I bragged on myself for days. I never thought I could do 10. Now, I'm thinking "Bring it on!"

As far as what to do, all I can tell you is what my trainer put me through: lots and lots and lots and lots of on the knees push-ups. Push-ups with one hand on the medicine ball, push-ups on the wall, push-ups on the balance ball, chest flys, and lots of other assorted core exercises of pain (think plank).

The real truth is though, if I, who consider push-ups to be my kryptonite, can do 10 freakin' push-ups then anyone can do 'em.
  • so jealous :P
