Fitday question

  • So I was putting in my pasta onto fitday, and I did it by oz. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see what the cup eqivilant of it was. The cup version said i was eating much more than the oz version.
    Have you guys ever run into this? Which do you trust more?
  • What did you compare, 1 cup vs 1 oz or something else?

    Also, it might be that the ounce is dry but the cup is cooked?

    Which food item was it?
  • just plain pasta. It had a dry oz, and just an oz, so I'm guessing it was cooked. I weighed it at 7 oz. I had originally put that i was going to eat 2 cups, but I decided to weigh it because i had the scale. 7 oz, while being about 100 less calories than 2 cups, looked like much more pasta than 2 cups. It was an odd little blip that I never would have noticed if I hadn't decided to way my food tonight.
