0 pt soup

  • This was the easiest and tastiest "free" soup that I have made yet. No onions to cut up and saute, but plenty of onion & garlic taste!!

    Combine in large saucepan:
    4 cups chicken broth, non fat (Swansons Natural Goodness, 1/3-less sodium)

    one 14.5 ounce can chopped tomatoes with garlic and onion (Del Monte)

    one 16 ounce bag frozen vegetables (Capri mix, Lady Lee: green beans, carrots, zucchini, yellow summer squash)

    Heat till cooked to your liking.

  • Wow, that was de-lish! I just got back from the store but opted for fresh squash and zuchinni and substituted fresh mushrooms for carrots. I find myself snacking on cold stuff all day but this was a nice HOT change, I never MAKE soup! That was so easy! Thanks!
