first day of my journey

  • Hello all,

    Other than my intro, this is my first post...not quite sure what I'm doing. Anyway, I just wanted to say that today was my first day on my journey. I think I did ok. I did not overeat. I'm proud of myself for this accomplishment. Tomorrow, I will try again and hopefully go for a short a walk too.
  • That is a huge accomplishment! Honestly, the first day is the worst for me. But then I string together a few good days and what do you know? It's not that bad. You can do it!!!
  • Welcome!!! Everybody's got to start by taking that same first step and having completed your first day means you're one day closer to a new, healthier you.
  • Good job. I find that once I get the ball rolling and have one great "on plan" day, I can't help but continue.

  • I find the first three days to be the most difficult, so you are a third of the way there!

    I take it one day at a time. Every morning when I wake up, regardless of what happened yesterday, I make a new commitment to losing weight.
