points calculation, help if you can~

  • i remember reading somewhere that there was a calculation you can use to manually figure out how many points are in a food. it was something like cals x fat / fiber. Does anyone know this calculation?
  • The calculation is:

    Calories + (Fat Grams x 4) - Fiber Grams x 10 divided by 50

    for examples if a product has the following:

    200 calories
    2 grams fat
    2 grams fiber

    You would calculate like this:

    200 + 8= 208
    208 - 20 = 188
    188 divided by 50 = 3.76 So this would be rounded up to 4 points
