Exercise Goals--Week of July 22--July 27

  • Hi Guys! Thought that I would start this up for this week. I know it has been helping me to get my exercise in---hope it is helpful to some of the rest of you!
    Okay, here are my exercise goals for this week: 1. Do the 3 Mile Walk Away Tape 5 times this week. 2. Do the Ab Sculpt tape 3 times this week. (Fingers crossed here that I can do this)
  • I know everyone is exercising they have just been too busy to post like I have been. But, I thought I would bring this up to the top to see how we are doing.

    Monday--missed exercising cuz I foolishly left it to the end of the day.

    Tuesday--did 3 Mile Walk Away Tape.

    Wednesday--walked around a hilly golf course for the better part of 6 hours.

    Planning on the 3 Miles today and maybe throwing in the Abs. Anybody else?
  • Okay, I DID get in the 3 Mile Tape and the Ab Sculpt--I am "glowing" like a right now.
    Did I mention that yesterday I RAN or should I say jogged fast for over a 1/2 block to catch a shuttle bus with DS at the golf tourney!! I haven't run that far in I can't remember when--I don't know whether I should be proud or embarassed.

    So sorry I did not join this sooner, but because of vacation, I did not have a report. Going back to the Y Friday morning. Although while at Lake Michigan for vacation last weekend, I did bike several times a day and spent hours in the water jumping waves! That should count for something.

    OK chickies.... don't fall down, here goes:

    I got on the treadmill this morning!!! And, I did more than just stand on it!! It wasn't a whole lot.... 15 minutes at a moderate/slow (3mph) speed, but it was the first time since my foot surgery in April!!! And, I am challenging myself to do it at least 2 more times before Monday........

    Jennifer, are you listening/reading??? I did it, did you?????

    Hey Jenny, any time you are outside doing something it counts as exercise in my book. I try to get it in any way I can. Have fun at the Y tomorrow.

    for me i did upperbdoy monday tuesday i passed wed lower body and upperbody today. so I have not been skimping just not posting
  • OMG!!!!!!!
    Now, I don't want any of my chickie-lady friends falling down or anything, but I have a MAJOR announcement here: I DID IT AGAIN THIS MORNING --- yes, you read it right!!! I got back on the treadmill again today and did 1 minute more than I did yesterday!

    Annie and Sue.... thanks for the waves of encouragement: as you can see, they worked!!! But Sue, I don't know that I will ever get back to the point of doing all that you (and so many of you other chickies) do...... About 5 or 6 years ago, I used to work at a place that had a great gym/excercise-rehab therapy place across the street - AND it had clean women's showers! So, while I was working 3 days per week, went to the gym before work! (best part: boss paid! it was an excercise challenge - anyone who went at least 2x per week, got it paid by the company!) Aaah, if only I could afford to do that again. Even the Y has gotten very expensive! Well, I'll stick (I hope!!) with the treadmill for now! Thanks for your support ladies!

    I DID get in my 3 Mile Walk Away tape with weights, but no Ab work today--I don't think they could take it.
