Good Morning Everyone,

Its a sad day for me. One of my TOPS friends died Saturday and the funeral is today. She was only 66 years old. She had knee replacement surgery back in April and got a staff (or staph? don't know the sp.) infection and I guess that it went to her lungs because she had a lung infection and was on a respirator since then. She died Saturday morning and her husband who was in a nursing home died Sunday morning without knowing that she had died. So it will be a double funeral today.

I haven't been doing well with my eating this week. I have been keeping a food journal and doing okay, but didn't keep one this week and have been eating way too much and the wrong food also.

Congratulations Sherri on breaking the 180# mark. You've been doing really good.

Summer...its good to see you back. IRD sounds wonderful. I would love to go to one sometime.

Flgal I am sorry to hear about your friend. I will keep you in my prayers.

Well weigh in went better than I thought. Hubby gained 3/4 lb. and I LOST 1 lb. I was happy about that. My Mom told me that I would gain. Because we went camping. Then when I told her that I had lost. She said. Well you probably didnt eat anything all day. But she was wrong. I had a slim fast bar. Canadian Bacon and some Mac and cheese. So I will take it.

Eleni. I took the letter from the post you had made. About the TOPS king. They read it last night. The ladies seemed to like it.

Sherri. I took the post The Enemy Within. Leader said it was kinda long to read in the meeting. But was going to make copies for everyone.

I hope everyone is doing ok. It is going to be hot here again. Around 90 degrees and humid. YUCK!!!!!!!!!! I am thinking of everyone. Even though I dont mention you. I do think of you all. Well I better get off here and get something done. Have to go and check on my sister's cat later. She left for the beach yesterday. Will have to check on Patches (cat) till Sun. So everyone have a great day. Try and stay cool.

Nita Sorry to hear of your loss. This is a stressful time for you. One funeral is bad enough but double is worse. You and Sherri are both going thru a lot. I am thinking about you both
