I do not know what's wrong with me. I am tired all the time lately! I first realized it when I went to camp with our church youth group. I would get to bed around midnight, then be up around 7:00. I had a long stretch of free time in the afternoons. I would walk back to the dorm intending to read, knit, work on school stuff, etc. Instead, I'd crash. I'd say I was only going to lay down for 30 minutes, set my alarm, and then when it went off, I'd turn it off and sleep for a couple more hours. During that week, I was sleeping about seven hours a night and then another three hours every afternoon.
It hasn't gotten better since I got home. I was okay when I was in Chicago for the 4th of July weekend, but that's because we were pretty much runrunrun the whole time. At home, though, I'll go to be around 2 AM (I'm a night owl by nature) and sleep until close to 11 AM. But then I'm tired again around 5 or 6, but I force myself to stay up until I get my second wind.
On top of it, I'm completely lazy all day. I do NOTHING but watch TV, knit, play on the computer, and sometimes a few loads of laundry or a quick pick-up of the house. It's not like I'm working hard.
I don't think I have low iron or anything. I just went to the doctor a few weeks ago (thought I had gallstones - turned out to be a mild case of gastritis) and he said my bloodwork was fine. My blood pressure was good (110/70). I'm not on any medications that would make me sleepy, like antihistimines.
Perhaps I'm in a mild depression? (Although I have no idea what I would be depressed about!) Thoughts? Helpful hints?
