Exciting for me, a completely irrelevant number to you. Simply, it means I've lost over 50 lbs off my highest weight of around 220 lbs. It also puts me at a BMI of 29, aka overweight! I never thought anyone could be this ecstatic about being overweight, but it's a much nicer title than "obese" or even "morbidly obese". Another reason for celebration is I've grown 1/4 of an inch!! I have been 5'3" for several years, and was sadly assured I'd always stay that height. However, a recent trip to the doctor's puts me at 5'3 & 1/4 ! I'm guessing that since I've lost all that weight, my body realized "Hey, this isn't so hard after all!" and started growing again.
If I'm lucky, I'll be 5'4 one day. I've got time right? I'm only 19.

I've posted a link to some of my pictures above. I hope you can see the change, I'm really trying to. Sometimes I still feel like I haven't changed at all, but the pictures are helping a lot. I still have a ton of work to do. Another 40 lbs to lose before I'm at my target weight, but I'm in no hurry to get there. I'm attempting to focus more on toning now, because exercise hasn't played as huge a role as diet did in losing the weight. Now I really need to work out to eliminate some of the flab. Wish me luck! I'll update a little further down the road.

With gratitude,
Kimberley

Congratulations on your loss, and gain (height wise). Just you wait and see, some day I'll be tall too.
