I've been on induction since 4/15 -- The first week I lost 7 lbs.. ever since then, I'm losing at a fairly steady 1 lb/wk. Every once in a while I see something (rye bread, cake, ice cream) that I
think I want to eat..... as soon as I give myself permission to have it for my birthday - I no longer want it!!! The whole "deprived" thing is really not as bad as I thought it would be - without all those carbs in my system, I'm really not having many cravings. So, I figure if I (who am a complete and total chocoholic and carb addict) can do this, you can!
However, for my birthday (which is coming up) dh gave me tix to the Mets/Braves game at Shea -- I have given myself permission to have 1 hot dog (maybe 2) and a beer at the game! After all, what's a ball game without a hot dog and beer
