Hi everyone-
I'm Cait. I'm 24, and weight 246 lbs.. this is nearly 10 lbs lighter than I was two weeks ago, at my heaviest of 254 lbs. In high school, I was a nationally competitive rower ranked 3rd in the nation- at most I weighed 140 lbs and had a bf% of less than 7%.. Now my bf% is nearly 27%.
In the past 2 weeks, I have gotten the fire lit in me to get back into shape and lose weight. I registered to RUN the 1/2 marathon in my city in November with one of my best friends. Since doing this, I have walked 2.5 miles daily and jogged 2.5 miles daily at least 6 days a week...
my biggest problems is the diet- right now I am consuming no more than 1400 calories daily... also, how to maximize weight loss through effective exercise. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and work at least 40 hrs a week so I'm learning to take the time out for myself to save my own life.
