Marvelous Monday

  • Good morning ladies, not much going on here. Weigh in tonite and not sure how it will go. Not worried about it. I exercised more than usual, but I didn't do as well as I could on the other things. So if I end this week with a turtle, i will be happy. If I end it with a gain, I will try harder this coming week. I know everything that I do is about choices. I just need that information stuck to my forehead 24/7. I know I can do this thing. I know we all can do this thing.
    Eleni-the greek wedding in playing in our town, would love to go and see it, but haven't been able to find the time yet.

    Don't worry girl you will do fine at weigh in. Like me I know all the right things to do and I don't always make the right decisions. I decided today to only workout at curves 1x a day and maybe do a few floor exercises here. I think I am building muscle and that is why the scale is not coming down. But I will continue to do good with the eating and water also.

    Here is a challange for us all today. Exercise for at least 30 min today and drink at least 64 oz. of water today. If we all make small steps then they will add up to the big picture.

    Good Morning Ladies
    I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was so-so. We went to my Mom and Dad's for a cookout yesterday. Had hamburger and hot dogs on the grill. I didnt' do too bad eating there. But then we went too hubbys brothers. They had ice cream cake so I did eat a little piece of that and 1 homemade chocolate chip cookie. I weigh in tomorrow night. I hope I have a loss. But even a turtle would be nice. Well I need to get off here. Have to call the Dr's office for hubby. So will check in later.

  • Dont feel badly about the way you ate this weekend gals. Yesterday for brunch (no breakfast) I had a belgian waffle (fat free thank god) with fat free cool whip, strawberries, 3 pieces of bacon (microwaved), canteloupe and a piece of pumpkin breakfast cake For supper we had prime rib, beef rice and corn and I had some more cake Sigh.. But i ate ok all week.

    But the good news is I had an excercise break thru!! I usually can barely do a 30 minute walk, but today I did a 50 minutes, 2.3 mile walk and I felt good!!! So hopefully I will lose this week instead of having a turtle Love to all...
  • I ate so much stuff during the weekend. I will have a gain for sure. And I enjoyed every bite. But I am starting to get back in line.
    I did see a "Curves" in a strip mall when we were out roaming around. I thought of you Sherri when I saw it.
    I saw Ya YA movie. It is a good woman movie. It was cute. I recommend it for the ladies. Men probably won't want to see it.
    We have had rain all day but we really needed it.
    Hope everyone had a good weekend and hope this week is good for all

    I am sure you will do fine at weigh in tomorrow night. We have to remember it is how we eat throughout the whole week that effects the weigh in. Not what we ate in one day. I know how you feel though. When I eat like that I say oh no I will gain for sure. That is why I didn't have any lunch yesterday because of the huge breakfast I had. I hardly ever have a huge breakfast. But I do eat breakfast everyday no matter what. You are back on track and you are doing great. Give yourself credit. Let us know how you do at weigh in tomorrow.

    I am sure you will have a loss this week. You have been doing great with sticking with your points all week. I am sure that yesterday didn't kill it. Like I said to coco one day doesn't wreck what we did for a week.
    Just look at how great you are doing to be able to walk farther then before is a great acheivement. You are doing great also. Keep up the great work.

    Sounds like you enjoyed the movie. Glad to hear that. You are the one that is always saying start over. Well take your own advice girl and start over. Don't let a bad eating weekend put an end to your great work. You have been doing great with the exercise as well. I know you will reel it in for the rest of the week. You usually do. You are like a lot of us and always has a bad weekend. I hate weekends eating wise. I always do better during the week when things are in a routine. Hang in there. I am rooting for you. Keep up all the exercise.
    It rains here like everyday. I am so sick of the rain and the colder weather. I will send some down your way. We have more then enough to share.

    I did good on plan today. I didn't get to exercise though today. But I did exercise in a different way. I helped my friend clean her house today and spent 6 1/2 hours cleaning. Her house is very dirty and we hauled out a lot. So it was a lot of work and I was beat so I didn't go to curves tonight. I get weighed and measured at curves tomorrow for my 1st months weigh and measurements. I hope I do okay. I will let you all know. But I had a lot of parties this month also which didn't help me at all. I don't do good controlling myself at them like I should.
