Well, it's 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday, I'm at work already--is that even legal?

Not that I'm worried about anyone else posting at this ungodly hour, but just in case, I'll be back to post in a second.

Good morning ladies--

Not much going on here, but as you can tell from my previous post, it's still pretty darn early. I came in at 6 this morning and will be leaving at 1--I get Direct TV installed today, can't wait! I'm drinking the bitterest cup of coffee ever (oh, it's nasty, even with cream and sugar), hoping it will assist in keeping me awake. We'll see how we do...

Have WI tonight... Not sure how I feel about that. I didn't have a very good week last week. But, I'm wiping the slate clean and mentally starting over from this weight. I started re-reading Week One last night and will continue to read them.

But, I'm not doing too badly in reaching my swimsuit season challenge goal which was to eat a fresh fruit/vegetable for lunch and one for dinner and to drink my water and exercise 3 times a week. So, I don't feel too bad about myself.

Jess - I thought I got to work early, but I think my record is 6:45 - at least you get to leave early, that's a bonus!

So I started off yesterday with full intentions of logging my food and staying within range. But....last night for dinner BF and I went to a fondue restaurant. Needless to say, I ate a ton. We started off with a cheese course, luckily we got my least favorite kind so I didn't eat a TON of it, but it easily was made with a lb of cheese - and that is supposed to be for two people!! I probably had 4 very small (bit bigger than croutons) pieces of bread, a few tortilla chips and apples, carrots and celery. Could have been worse. Then came the salad with full fat dressing of course. For the main course I managed to steer BF away from the traditional oil and we cooked in a vegetable broth instead. In reality, the entree probably wasn't bad at all - chicken breast, filet mingion and broccoli. I did however try out all the dipping sauces which I'm sure added lots of fat and calories. Desert is where the whole thing got blown - dark chocolate with flambed marshmallow and oreo cookies....and we dipped in bites of fruit, brownie and cake. Plus a bottle of champagne. It was a very nice dinner and very romantic, but very indulgent

Did I mention it was my suggestion to go there? Tonight I'm thinking we should just grill out in the backyard or something...that way I'll have a little more control over what I'll be eating!

I have to tell you how glad I am that things are worked out between you and BF. I literally was worried about it all night last night--stuff like that with my own BF gets me so stressed, so I was feeling sympathy stress.

No sense kicking yourself in the backside for last night, it sounds like it was more than worth the points spent for the night of romance. I know that when BF and I go out to eat anywhere, I'm so glad that we're actually doing something that I forget all about points because I want to really enjoy myself and not worry about restraining myself. I have to ask you this--were you guys dipping and feeding each other and cute things like that? After a year and a half together and many things dropped in my lap, we no longer feed each other...

OK, back to work. Can you tell I really don't want to do much at work today? I think it's the stormy weather and the fact that I came in early.

Lexxy, I'm glad things with your boyfriend are good. And what a nice way to spend an evening... your dinner totally sounds divine! We're going to be eating healthy for the rest of our lives... and so we can't cut out dinners like that forever.... we watch what we eat most of the time, and then splurge a little. Sounds worth the indulgence.

I weigh in at lunch. I'm pretty positive about it. I was up 1.5 last week, but I think it was all water (I was on my period), so I'm expecting to take that 1.5 off, plus hopefully another half pound in addition. My Friday wasn't spectacular and I had 3 drinks on Saturday.... but I exercised every day and ate within my range 5/7 days. I should be in good shape... I'll keep y'all posted.

I have pictures back from thje developer of some recent pics... so I'll see if I can scan them in today.

Ali - great to hear from you again. I bet I was MIA longer than you were. How have things been?????

Kier - we were posting at the same time. Good morning. I don't mind the young guys... but there does seem to be a bit of a double standand. But I'm all about breaking barriers!!! Of course I haven't heard from him.... but like I said... I'm not bummed at all. Saturday was fun anyway! Mmmm Ice cream cake is my favorite. Yeah - 45 minutes of cardio is at least 300 calories, if not more.... and I bet it was worth the cake!

Jess ~ Wow, you are a woman getting to work that early. If I didn't have a family to get ready in the morning, I would love to work like 6-3 or something, more time in the afternoon's to do something! I completely understand about wiping the slate clean. I did that too this week, had an awful weekend, and am regrouping this week. I am doing pretty well. Got in two walks yesterday too. Keep up the good work!!!

Lexxy ~ Your evening sounds wonderful, my DH is non-romantic, so I can't even imagine having an evening like that, you are lucky...and I agree, don't worry about the points, just do you best the rest of the week. How about grilled chicken and vegetables on the grill tonight??

Kier ~ I know where you are coming from with the ice cream cake, I have had a hard time staying away from ice cream lately. My addiction now is New York Vanilla Ice Cream with Magic Shell on it....remember that stuff???

Lisa ~ You are going wonderfully with the program...I am so proud of you!! We have to see pics, so post them soon!! And, I agree, don't worry about the age difference...I hope he calls!!

Hi to everyone else...Jen (I hope you are meeting lots of gorgeous Italian men....) Jen (where are you and how is Emma!), Ali, Trish, Angie, KT and everyone else that I missed!!

Not much new with me, have been good this week and eating within my points, exercise is a struggle, but have been walking during work, and hope to get on the treadmill tonight.

I am in the midst of planning my boss's retirement party (they are big "to-do's" here at the University, food, dancing etc. so it has monopolized much of my time the last few months.) The party is next Thursday, so after that is over, my time will one again be more free.

I am trying to find a good place to buy comforters and general bedding from for our new house. I am re-doing all of the bedrooms except my sons. (He just got new a year ago), but I am struggling. I just bought a new comforter set from Sears last year for DH and I's bedroom, and it was like $100.00, and it has held up ok., but really faded (I have only ever dry cleaned it) and worn, I thought it would be better quality than that.

Anyway, if anyone has suggestions for good comforters (I like contemporary styles) but not outrageous prices (I won't spend $300.00 on just the comforter!) let me know!!

Well, I don't know much more than that, I will check back later, I am not feeling very ambitious today....

Ok, now I have cravings for fondue and magic shell! Thank God my car is in for repairs so I have no way to drive to a grocery store! I did discover skinny cow ice cream treats this weekend (2 points for an ice cream sandwich that honestly doesn't taste too lowfat) so that is a good thing. I have a vacation coming up next week, so hopefully those are sold where we are going and I won't feel too deprived while everyone else in my family is eating Moose Tracks if I have my skinny cows. Morning Ladies -

I'm trying to decide if today is a good day or not. I seem to have found my motivation again, was totally OP yesterday, and had awesome work-out's yesterday (walked 6 mi in 80 minutes) and today (spent 2 hrs in the gym!). On the other hand, I came home to a flood last night that was in my utility room and had mananged to soak part of my living room carpet which means another arguement with the builder and plumber. I've also realized that the members of my family who said they'd help me landscape my yard aren't actually going to follow through. I spent part of my weekend researching and planning where to put beds and which shrubs/trees to buy, but I'm going to have to rent a tiller and create the beds and handle the planting myself this coming weekend. Does anyone know how to get a tree in a Cavalier? Or better yet, where I can rent a yard boy?

Jess - sounds like you are doing well with your eating plan. Keep up the hard work!

Lexxy - glad thing worked out with you and BF. I'm jealous that you are grilling out tonight. I've got a craving for grilled salmon.

Tonya - I personally am a fan of the "bed in a bag". I've purchased them from Sears and from Domestications (www.domestications.com) for about $100 and been pleased with the quality. I also adore Bed, Bath and Beyond - they've got a website although I can't remember it right now.

Thanks so much for all of the encouragement on the at work program. I really cannot wait I am ashamed to say that after appx a week and a half of pigging out I gained 3 pds I've only lost 6 so far on the challenge so that is a bit of a bummer however I cannot wait to go on thursday and begin WWer's I have neve gone consistantly and am determined to do it this time. DF gave the go ahead as far as spending the extra money. We are attempting to pinch pennies in order to buy a house in January or February. So I am definitely doing it. I wish he would do it with me but he insists that once he decides to lose weight he will. The sad thing is he will. He cut back on pop for like four days last month and lost 5 pds So depressing. It took me a month to lost that. Oh well!

I don't have a lot of time to post b/c I have got to work today. Yesterday I had 2 clients and spent the rest of the day planning my wedding I feel really guilty so today I must work. Speaking of my wedding one of my friends from NY called me last night to tell me she couldn't be in it. I am kind of upset but I am going to ask DF's sister. I love her and I think she would like to be in it. What do you girls think esp. those with children. His sister is in her 30's and her daughter is the flower girl. Do married with children woman want to be bridesmaids????? Fill me in.

Tonya- Bed Bath and Beyond. Nautica has great comforters. I also love Calvin Klein but that is tres expensive. So I suggest BB&B

Lexxy- What a fun night!! I love date nights and I am sooooo glad that all is well with B/f. I had the same kind of thing happen last night. DF calls me a few times a day usuallly. Well yesterday we talked in the am and then I didn't hear from him. I called his house and he wasn't home. Finally at 7:30pm I called his mom and then his friend I was breezy when I spoke with them b/c I didn't want to embarrass df and be checking up on him But I am so embarrased b/c it turned out that he was doing landscaping all day and he no longer has a cell (which I know) Anyways I though he was dead or skipped town or something. How psycho am I?????? Scary!!! Regardless though I did give him a mini sob story about how He could have been dead etc etc. He will let me know when he's working late now I think

Well, I successfully avoided the pizza craving last night, but still ended up at 28 points for the day-over by three Cause I didn't have time to exersize. But I will make up for that today.
I have been working on my wedding thank you's. What is an acceptable time frame to do those in? Does anyone know?

Grace-Good luck starting WW-I rejoined last week and have found new motivation-I am at least journalling everything, even if I go over...

And then I am going food shopping and making a low point soup for the week, and am planning to exersize...we'll see how it goes!

Busy morning on the board wow.

I'm back on track, I hope, I can't stand in when I'm carrying this much water and I don't have a clue what my real weight is. Oh well, all I can do is stay OP - I did an aerobics class last night and I'm jumping my horse tonight and I rode 1 hour saturday and 2.5 on Sunday so at least I'm getting my exercise in. Of course I had a caesar salad for dinner last night - but I really enjoyed it. BF and I went grocery shopping last night because I didn't have enough WW type food in the house. Now I can really stay on program.

Jess - You've probably left work by now but I hope you had a good day and you get to enjoy your afternoon off.

Lexxy - my sister took me to one of those restaurants (pre-WW) when I visited her in Virginia. I loved it! Of course, we did the oil thing and were stuffed when we left. They suggested broth as a lighter option and one day when I go back, I'll have to try it. It sounds like a great evening.

Lisa - I hope your WI goes well! I can't wait for a post water water weight WI.

I need some cheering up.

One of my bridemaids came up Sunday and she and my sister tried on dresses Sun. and Monday. First of all, the bridal shops around here have mostly crap or it's too expensive. We finally found one dress I like, although I've seen much better stuff on the Internet.

But the real depressing part. Even though my sister is going to make my dress, I tried on a few wedding dresses to see what they looked like. Nothing fit, not even size 20. I was so down and I feel like that even now. I know with my sister making my dress, I shouldn't be as down, but I can't help it. My mom has told me if we find a dress, I can buy it, but all the places are telling me I'd need to order NOW and I'm just not ready to do that. Plus, the dresses I saw in the shops were heavy and gaudy.

For three weeks I've stayed OP, except for Saturday when I had some wine and cheese. I've been exercising every other day. And the 3 lbs I lost? They seem to be back.

What do I do? I SO want a steak and cheese sub.
