When I started trying to change my lifestyle, I was feeling down about being trapped by my exercise routine, inconveniencing my friends by the restrictions on my eating, and just feeling a lack of confidence in general. This wasn't helped by an immediate gain of 3 lbs and continually fluctuating water weight. However, I've lost that initial 3 lbs and I'm feeling good about the food I eat and the exercise I get. I feel energized and ready to tackle this thing again. Bring it on!
