I'm thinking about getting a new scale. Mine gets funky every now and then. Right now I am getting 173 every morning. And when I started back at this I was 180 so I know I'm dropping. When my husband steps on it, it gives him 3 different readings. He says I shouldn't trust it. I am not stepping on it infront of him to show him how it says the same thing for me twice. I also make sure it reads the same number a couple times, especially if it's one I haven't seen in awhile. LOL! He also thinks it should read the same number when he goes up after he's eaten dinner and drank 5 beers as it did when he wakes up. I almost feel like he's down playing my loss when I tell him I've lost another pound because "the scale is s#i!". I think he's maybe just standing on it differently every time. And I've actually caught him sliding it over a couple times so I told him you need to disreguard the first number every time it's moved and step on it again. He knows all though and the scale is crap.
I'm also very scared to get a new scale. What if it reads more than this one. I was scared of this very same thing when I bought this one and went from the old dial one to digital. It was the same though.
Would you get a new one or just stick it out with this one since it's showing a loss and believe in what it's telling you since the inches are going down too? If you were to get a new one what would it be? What do you have and do you love it, is it accurate, what does it measure besides weight if anything at all?
And my hubby is a very good guy for the most part. Loves me no matter what, tells me I'm beautiful all the time, notices my losses (when he SEES one), and tells me how hard I'm working all the time. It's just this one thing that he's getting on my nerves about. Well, this ONE thing when it comes to weight loss. LOL!
