    Good Morning Ladies

    W-I this this morning and maintained at 168.5


    Have one more week to go, before I go back to the doctor with my food diary,to see what I doing wrong and why I'm gaining instead of losing.

    Hopefully the mystery will be solved.

    PAM-That's great to see the scale move down,congrats on that account. I 'm almost temped to lower my calorie count,seeing that I maintained ,but I will be patient,hopefully my doctor has the answers.

    PAULA-Thanks for the PB web site. I use Teddies natural PB,but I look around the grocery store for this brand if the healthier.

    COCO-Have a nice day,and hope you DH has a great doctors appointment,and you have a successful W-I.


    RHONDA-I'm gong to start to exercise again today,now that the antibiotics are almost gone.Have one day to go.

    VICKIE-Some times I believe that the scale has a little inside of it. It might be water weight that has to redistributed to bring a weight balance. Wait for 1/2 hr before you W-I again. They shouldn't treat you different if you gained or lost,you paying good money for their services

  • Hi there. We are home and are having a recuperation day. We even took a nap this afternoon. Curtis won 3rd in the Shoot Your Way Across Texas Championship. I got first. I also won the state title for this group. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed celebrating our 10th anniversary there.

    I had a good day with food. I was not totally Core, but very well controlled.

    Now, I'll do more floor exercises tonight and feel more virtuous. I do so wish it were warmer. It really affects my mood and desire to move! It's just so stupidly cold!!!

    I am hoping to see 140 this week...
    Wish I was more movitated to walk daily,
    I did get into a pair of jeans that I haven't been
    able to wear in a long time.That felt great.
    I have 5 very cute baby bunnies & I will try to post a picture.
  • Good Morning Chicks! I have a handyman coming at 10:00 so I have to run and get ready. He's checking on returning water damage that was supposed to be fixed. We have water in an old spot where we just finished PAINTING!

    Grrrrr......it's always something. I'll be back later.

    At weigh in I lost a pound. Not too sure how I did that. But am happy with it.

    Had a late start again and had to go grocery shopping before posting.Tomorrow is Ash Wed and I had to get fish for tomorrows dinner.

    SANDRA-Congrats for you & you dh winning first and third and for your 10 anniversary also.

    VICKIE-I'm sorry I didn't see you lose until now, on the old thread big congrats on that.

    RHONDA-Not being on the core for one day is not going to hurt you unless your in not in control congrats for being in control. While copying my Journal for the doctor I notice that I eating too many core grains.[cereal,potatoes,pasta & rice]sometime twice a day,instead of following the core rules once a day. Have to change that.


    NANCY-WTG you're almost there,wow 140 that my goal weight,big congrats for doing that.One pound will be off soon.


    COCO-Happy to hear your DH appointment went well and you losing 1 lb You did great this week.

    I have MSN as my home page and something came up about the 10 best diets. Of course, WW and YOAD are on the list. But, one of the diets recommended that if you need to lose weight cut back what you're eating by 25% (or eat 75% of what you normally do). Although it wasn't stated, I assume that they wouldn't recommend going lower than 1000 calories a day....food for thought...

    I'm spending the afternoon at home, working around here on the numerous things we have to do. I decided that office work can spare me today.

    Vickie.."it's always something"....Lillian Hellman is quoted as saying "it's the same d**n thing over and over again"! I've always loved that one! We have the same problem (over and over again) in our LR.

    Nancy, here are some for getting into the 140's this week.

    Maryann, you sound busy. We are, too. We worked in the yard today. I weeded one bed and planted 3 elephant ears. Now I'm thinking I need to move them cuz they may get too large for where I planted them. (They get 5 feet tall.)

    Eating hasn't been op but it's still improving. Traveling every weekend to championships is taking a toll on us. We're pooped. We still have 2 more to attend over the next 3 weeks. Life is good.

    Well just getting back on here. I think I am caught up on everyone now.
    Finally got all the tax stuff together. Take it to the tax man Thursday.

    BEACHBUM I know you wanted a loss. But maintaining is good too. I know if I eat too many carbs. I dont lose well. I have to watch those and of course the salt. I am sure if you continue with what you are doing. The scales will go down.

    ONTARGET I have a total of 33 lbs off. I had lost 52 and gained alot of that back. So in Sept 2008. I really started trying to get back on track. So from Sept to now I will have to figure out the loss. Congrats on the win.

    VICKIE Good job on the loss. You know all the little losses add up. I know we want to see it now. Not later. Did you get your leak fixed. That is awful you painted and then a leak.

    TEJAS Hope you enjoyed your day off. I know the Dr hubby went to yesterday. Said WW was a good program.

    NANCY237 That is great you got into a pair of jeans that you hadnt been able too. I bet the baby bunnies are adorable. Cant wait to see pictures.

  • Hi everyone. Things are going well here. I'm doing very good OP. Tracking everything and honestly doing it! I have wi tomorrow, I'm hoping for a loss, but TOM is still here, so I won't be surprised if I stay the same.

    Nancy, congrats on the Jeans. Nothing like fitting into the smaller clothes.

    Sandra, good luck on your upcoming tournaments and Congrats on the last one. Just keep trying to stick to program, trying to eat op is better than not thinking about it. Do you think you eat differently on tournaments now than a year or two ago?

    I've been thinking about what to give up for Lent. I'm not so observant that Lent is a big part of my life (but I do like the pancakes for today!). But, since Lent is here, why not give something up.

    Normally people give up some food or drink: am I right? I think I will try to make a real sacrifice and give up excuse making. No more excuses for not eating right and no more excuses for not exercising. I wonder if I can really do that? If I can, it will be a real sacrifice!

    So, I'm going to watch the President on TV and then turn in for the night. Have a good night everyone.
