  • Good morning I am running late so only have a minute. I had a 2.5# loss and I was thrilled. makes it worth it to do the exercising I hate.
Be sure to edit the Mothers day challenge. The next one will be a Fathers day challenge. I ended up with a 4.5# loss so I was happy. I would have been happy with 1/2#
  • Hi Everyone,

Congrats Coco, Mary Ann and Eleni on your good losses this week. You are all doing great!

Mary Ann.... I used to do ceramics also. I still have my kiln and a lot of molds, but don't work with it much anymore. To get new members, check with your local newspaper. They will usually publish free notices of your meetings. A lot of people would like to join TOPS, but don't know where and when they meet. If the paper will publish free notices, have them put it in about once a month. Also, put it in when you are having guest speakers.
Setting up a table in front of K Mart to hand out brochures is a good idea. Could you put some of those brochures where you do your water aerobics?

I had just typed a post and before I submitted it, we had a power glitch and I lost it all, so now I have to get going. Today is my weigh-in day and it looks like I will have a gain. My back has been bothering me again, especially when I stand too long, and I don't get in as much activity as I would like.

Hope you all have a great day.

  • good idea
Nita, thanks for the idea of putting some brochures at the Aquatic Center. I will ask them if i can. I will also check with our local newspaper. I think they tried that last year, but won't hurt to give it another try. Will let you know what results we get. thanks. I do ceramics at a local Rec center. it is half an hour away, so don't go too often, try for once a week, but some weeks am just too busy. I just pay for the greenware, and the paints, instructions, firing is all included. My niece has started working there, and goes 4x a week. I really enjoy it. I don't know anyone who has their own kiln!! Well, must go, talk with you later. mary ann
