Has anyone tryed Nutrisystem- I saw them on qvc and am thinking about trying it.

I lost 65 pounds in 6 months on Nutri system about 15 years ago. It was expensive, I had to go to meetings once a week or more and buy and eat their food. I hated the food.
It worked. I exercised a lot (but I was younger then too). I kept the weight off for about 2 years before I slid back into my bad eating habits.
I also had 2 sister-in-laws and a niece go on that program at about the same time and we all gained our weight back.
I now think there are cheaper and healthier programs.
Still no magic pill!

I did nutrasystem about 3 years ago, I was preparing to join the military, I had lost about 65 pounds or so in about 7 months. like Mand Mom said, it is expensive, it cost me about $50-60 per week, plus you had to buy fruits, drinks veggies, condiments,, Most of the food isnt very tastey.. I couldnt do it permanantly, had to go to meetings, and then they changed it to over the phone where they call and check on you, order the food..I gained 20 pounds within the year after the loss, then got pregnant, and gained 70 more!! Well it is up to you, you l ose weight quick, but I dont see it as anything long term. RIght now I am on a low fat change of eating (permanant), and it is working just fine, but different things work better for others... I hope this gives you some information that h elps..
