OK, So I'm in DIRE need of bras! The three I own do not fit right, AND they do nothing for support!

I spent about two hours between TJ Maxx and Walmart yesterday with NO luck finding something... I've decided to walk away from the 18 hr bra I've used for decades!

So, I'm here to ask... What bra do you all like for comfort AND support?

I'm a size D and DD, depending!

I personally can't wear anything with a wire and I am really picky about bras despite that fact. I usually go for a soft cup that shapes well (or I'll just drag out my "comfort bras" that you see advertised in the newspaper) with wide sides and straps. Apparently, I like nun-derwear! I prefer front closing styles, but they're hard to find combined with everything else I prefer. I also like to wear sports bras often because they provide good support and then I don't have to change when I go to the gym.
I had a bra fitting at JCPenny, although I don't think she knew what she was doing-I'll go to Avenue next time, but at any rate, they had a very nice selection that was on sale at the time.
For me I basically have to spend 3 times the time on bras as other clothing.

Hmmm... I think it depends on what style you like, I shop at Torrid for bras that make my boobs look fantastic and I have DD's. My Mom also has DD's and she shops at JCPenny for the full coverage ones... so it kind of depends if you want good cleavage or not.

Raw, I'd be glad to donate a cup size, or three!

First-get fitted. My mom thought she was a 38DD, and she is actually a 36DDD. It made a world of difference when she got fitted, in how she looked and how they supported her.

When you lose weight, even a 10 pound loss can change your bra size!

~I HATE Curvation bras from Wal-Mart. Pretty, yes. Ill fitting, and the fitting not regulated, however. Blech.

~I LOVE bras by Playtex and Bali. I almost always go to the Playtex/Bali/Hanes outlets to buy my bras. Here are some of my current favorites:

Bali and Playtex, IMO, are the best fitting bras for larger cup sizes.

i love the BioLift from Victoria's Secret. There bras are expensive -- but for good reason. I just love that my boobs are now pliable enough, after nursing for a year, to push up to my neck. They also have a new bra that has memory foam. I am not sure of the purpose of that, but I am not going to argue with the rocket scientists employed at VS -- they know what they are doing.

I got fitted in the summer, and I haven't lost anything, but I am not sure I'm comfortable iwth how she fitted me, I mean, where she was holding the tape was at least ten inches away from me!!!!!!!! My sister the same thing, and it was in the middle of the store around our shirts, is that normal?

for years I've worn 40D, yesterday tried 38DD and like the way they fit better, but I have to find one comfortable and that doesn't look smushed (the one I had on was a minimizer), or that doesn't just let them hang there!

I was always bad about bras, never fitted in my life, would buy cheap ones from the clearance racks, I basically ignored the need for a nicer bra.

After mine became more 'pliable' (thanks for the laugh mamaspank!) from nursing and big weight loss I realized I needed something. So, when I lost 100 pounds I headed to Victoria's Secret.

OMG, my chest is a dream come true now - I never knew it could look this good, I never knew about the annoyance of men looking at my chest, I didn't know about the wonders of cleavage (now I can hide stuff in there, like the dollar bills those guys hand me ) Wowee!

My favorite is the Very Sexy line, I do believe mine are the push-up with Gel Curve ones.
