  • I love the Lane Bryant Balconette bras. My friend made me try one on at a LB Outlet and they're great!! I like to stock up when they're having the "Buy one, get one 1/2 off...." sales.
  • I have to share this! I have been measured by three ladies in the last three weeks, and again today! The ONLY one that was of any help was the one today from JC Penny! The others were measuring closer to my belly than my breast band!

She measured in three places... one at the top(double check system for band size).. across chest, and again the band.

She then told me what to look for when trying on bras!

Shoulder, take one finger, should be able to slide without too much difficulty along shoulder.

Band, should fit snug, but be able to put two fingers in band flat against back and be able to slide comfortably.

Cup, no spillage should be there. take hand and move from neck down, should be smooth (of course thats visible to me!)

Move in different directions, at waist, move arms... like you would during every day life... if breasts move out of cups, go a size up she says...

    Sitting, should be comfortable.

  • Quote: OK, I just found this site, and according to the measurements I am a 40D...

Either I'm extremely confused or I'm sucking at numbers today. I actually got 46 AA when I used that way of figuring out my bra size. Um no way that is right! lol I don't think they'd even make that size.

Edit: Re did it and got 46 B.. but umm I've tried on 46 bands and they are loose.

    I hate walmart bras.

DONT USE THAT SITE... I did it and got 40 A... UM< I know for a fact I'm a D, in some cases a DD depending on the bra! LOL... (forgot to edit it)
  • I read somewhere that for under bust measurements of 33 or more, to only add 3 (not 5) to get the band size. That gives you a smaller band and larger cup result. Seems to work a lot better in real life.
