I wanna go home!!! Whine. Whine. Whine.
Well, this is me today. Thanks goodness the boss told me I could go home at noon today. I really had planned on doing that, but at least I don't need to sneak out now. LOL
Actually, I think it is his way of making up for the 'incident' yesterday. He used to be an RCMP officer and still uses a lot of bullying techniques that some cops use. Well, yesterday he jammed paper in the printer (while printing a personal document, I might add), bellered at me to fix the printer, then went balistic when I touched his piece of paper. That happened just before noon, so all through lunch hubby had to listen to me blubbering.
As predicted, boss came back from lunch full of apologies and told me I could take a 1/2 day today. I had already planned to do that because I have been working 12 hour days doing budget (his work, I might add), and want to go see the grandkids (their parents, too) this weekend and our youngest son is meeting us there with the 'monster' dog. (I really do miss the dog even though he was so much work.)
Then the worst happened...cramps and feeling yucky. Oh well. I'm just not going to let that ruin a perfectly good weekend and I'll quit whining now.
Yesterday I met with my PFT for my second session. I can actually feel like I am making progress. Hurt like heck, though, but that will go away. She is working strictly on toning muscles with me, so has left my cardio up to me. I guess I am really going to have to get the treadmill at home in action.
I was watching some of the girls at the fitness centre yesterday on the treadmill. They program it at a very fast pace and run for 30 minutes. I stand there with my mouth open and eyes bugged out. My PFT has to remind me to quit staring. LOL.
However, through all of that, I am going to lose weight this week. I have planned to make sure that I journal everything this weekend and not to go off of my program. We are taking the family out for dinner on Saturday evening to celebrate birthdays...one granddaughter had a birthday last Sunday, our daughter's birthday is today, the other granddaughter celebrates her first birthday on April 5, and our son's girlfriend's birthday is April 4. Do they make birthday cards that read "Happy Birthday to my Son's Girlfriend? Juuuusssst wondering...
Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend. I'm not sure if I will have access to internet this weekend, but if not, will catch up on Monday. Take care.
