I know there is a spot for this

  • but I wanted to share with my 20 somethings here too.

    I normally run outside, or ride my bike but lately I've been sticking to my WATP videos...the faster paced ones. Today I decided to see how many calories I can burn while dancing so I did my 10 min solutions fat blasting dance mix and holy catfish! Talk about burn. I worked off 397 cals in 4 workouts. The last one wasn't fast paced but it was for the thighs and butt and boy can I already feel it. Might not be able to walk tomorrow.
    Gotta love working those muscles!

    So, hopefully I can work off those problem thighs with that a few times a week and then some lunges and such. There is no way my hubby will let me buy anything else so I can't get any pilates videos or anything.

    Also, if you have this video how the heck to you do the last 10 min ab workout? I can't get my abs to do what she's doing for the life of me. My hips and shoulders try moving more than my tummy does.

  • Do you have the cd by Jennifer Gilardi? I can do her ab workout better than the hips and thighs workout, but then, even before I got serious about working out, I could do 300 sit ups at one time. My abs are trained, I guess.

    with time people get stronger....
    and are able to do thins they cudnt do before....
    i still for the life of me cant do push ups....
  • I know I will never be able to join any branch of the military- I never have been, and never will be able to do any sort of push ups!! I just can't..even in my skinny days!! I wouldn't last a day in boot camp..... However, I do exercise when I'm bored, and I never thought I'd see THAT day!

  • Yes, Jennifer Gilardi is the instructor. I love her. My legs and butt are feeling it today just as I knew they would from that workout. I love this feeling though. Makes me feel like I'm getting fit. LOL! I guess Ill have to work on the ab one today. I have 3 of the 1 min solution dance dvds but she's only the leader on 2 so I tend to do those more. Maybe I should try the other one too today.
