I don't particularly like Mondays, but I don't mind today too much.
My routine is not that much different on weekends (other that I am not at work) - I found out that I pretty much hold my own and I don't overindulge in food on weekends, so they do not represent a threat to me.
I did have a lunch with the "girls" yesterday - we get together once every 2-3 months (since each of us lives in a different town). I was mindful of "eating healthy" and so I ordered turkey with home fries (the choice was mashed, fries or home fries). There was some gravy on the turkey but there was also a nice amount of steamed broccoli, cauli, carrots and peppers as a side dish. I ate the veggies first and saved half of the turkey to go (less than half of the home fries). I stopped eating regular potatoes (and I love them) so that was a treat for me. I have the leftover for lunch today, with half of a broccoli. I think I did pretty well, most choices on the menu were not the healthiest. A friend of mine next to me was stuffing hersefl with French toast swimming in melted butter, maple syrup and whipped cream (but I am quite immune to that stuff, thank god).
