Hey friends!
How is everyone today? I just got home from work & I'm beat! I'm so glad its the weekend! I don't get to sleep in tomorrow though b/c I have a massage appointment at 9. It's so worth the sleep sacrifice though! Today I'm doing great OP wise! Yay me! Last night I went over my limit by 4 points-darn it (cheesecake!)! Today I din't have very many talkative clients so I spent that time reflecting and reaffirming my goals-always a helpful thing. Right now I'm feeling pretty motivated & ready to handle tomorrow's challenge of eating out with the in-laws.
Tonay, glad to see you made it back safe & sound! Sounds like lots of positive things came about on your trip! Yay for you! Are you ready to settle back into normalcy now?
JenL Sorry to hear about your job stress. Hope things look up soon! I also hope you get those pics of Emma back soon so you can share her sweeetness with us!
Trish, great to hear from you! How the life of a Mommy? You need to post us some pics soon

Don't worry you'll get back to losing instead of maintaining.
Kim, sorry to hear about your frustration. I used to think we'd never get engaged either. It only took four years for us! Then we get to have a two year engagement! Crazy! Men just don't get it. I don't see what the big deal is (for guys) when you're already living together-to me its mostly the same thing. I don't know how it works in the states but in Canada you have to pay your taxes together, etc. like married people do. Hope its better for you soon. Hang in there.
Kendra, glad to you dropped by. Sorry to hear about you 'puter. If you're feeling sore from the gym the best thing you can do is get back it. The action helps to move the metabolic wastes out so you don't feel as sore & if you keep going your body never gets the chance to fully go into the DOMS that you're feeling now (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). Some at home self care that really helps with metabolic waste reduction is taking a warm bath in Epsom Salts & Baking Soda for about ten minutes. You need a cup of each. The Epsom Salts draw the metabolic wastes out of your tissue. The Baking Soda neutralize the acids in the waste so that if you happen to reabsorb the waste it doesn't have any effect on your system. Another thing is to drink tons & tons of water to help flush your system. And of course being a massage therapist, I'm going to reccommend a massage because it helps to clear out the wastes which are making you sore & it realigns any muscle fibers that are stressed from improper form during work out plus it will help with any microtearing of the fibers that sometimes happens from working out. Anyway sorry I'm rambling on & on with unsolicited advice. I'm a helper by nature.
Stacey, Any idea how cold that is in Celcius? Today here it was -40 C. BRRRR! Supposedly by Monday its supposed to be up to +6C! How in the world can it change 47 degrees so fast? Anybody else ever get that? I know Saskatchewan is the place of extreme weather but that's crazy!
Lisa, If you bring Jimmy Fallon home I'm coming over to your place! Hey remember no matter how fun it might seem it is truly wrong to drug someone to get them to go home with you!

Have a great time in New York!
Kirsty, is salmon very "fishy" ? I eat the canned version with Ultra Low Fat Mayo but that's not the same as just eating salmon as a meal. I always think I would like to try it but am afraid I won't like it plus its really expensive to buy just to try. I'm not into fishy seafood. I know that doesn't really make sense but I don't know how else to explain it. Like I don't mind crab or a little bit of shrimp but try to get me to eat oysters or mussels or scallops or sardines & I just can't get past that fishy smell & taste.
Hope you all have a great weekend! Stay OP! Talk to you later
