I used FitDay for a while last fall and was doing well, but I fell off during the holidays and hit a 2 month post-holiday slump. I just logged back on for the first time this year yesterday.
I am 28 years old. I am living far away from everyone I know for the past 2 years so I've often turned to takeout to make me feel better. It doesn't help that when I visit my boyfriend, family, and friends, it usually involves more eating.

A big challenge for me is cooking for 1. I enjoy watching cooking shows and reading cook books, but I get discouraged from trying recipes out since most are usually for 4 and scaling them down can be hard. Leftovers usually excite most people, but I don't do so well with them.
I'm really looking forward to participating!




However, I've learned that leftovers are a great thing. And perhaps, with time you'll be able to cut a recipe down to 2 servings, and immediately wrap up the extra. What's great about the leftovers is that you can use it for the very next meal if you want, or for several meals later.
