  • Schmoodle, I'm posting that recipe in the Phase 2 Soups. I got it from one of the other moderators, Ellis, and it's soooooo good!
  • Whatever sounds good
    Today:

B:2 slices (heavy)multi grain toast w SBD marg
    2 eggs
    2 slices turkey bacon
    4 oz V-8
    10 oz unsweetened orange juice
    10 oz skim milk
(this is my breakfast every morning since Day 1 of Phase 2)

I have always liked a breakfast that includes meat. Ever since forever.

    Lunch:

1-2 slices of that same heavy multi grain bread
    3-4 oz chicken
    lettuce tomato on sandwich
    slice of red fat cheese
green salad with cucumbers, tomato and SBD dressing
    vegetable broth -1 saltine
    1 medium apple
    1 sugar free pudding cup

I like a "heavier" lunch. I work from home and I typically take 45-1 hr. to eat. I'm a slow eater.

    Dinner:

lean meat (tonight is beef steak grilled)
2-3 c vegetables (mix of broccoli, green beans, blackeyed peas)

I typically have never eaten much if any carbs for dinner and so this plan really works for me.

Dessert: (got to have something sweet though afterwards!)

    sugar free Jello cup
    10 oz skim milk

My meals are about the same every day. I am a creature of habit. I don't eat carbs at dinner just because I really prefer them earlier in the day.

When I look at what all of you are eating, I feel like I am eating like a horse but it is working for me, gets me to lose the weight and I am not exercising like I used to either.

    Go figure!
  • Weighed in thihs morning down another 4 pounds from last Monday Of course, then I go and do this for the start of my day:
    • left the house having eaten NOTHING, so I had an Atkins bar from Walmart
    • trying to get back on track--V8
    • salad - romaine, baby spinach, sliced almonds, chicken, and Asian sesame dressing
    • turkey kielbasa, leftover mashed cauliflower
I'm transitioning to Phase 2 now, but I didn't add any fruit today since I figured the Atkins bar was enoug of a "cheat" that I didn't want to throw anything else into the mix.
  • B-slept in too late and missed it as usual on days off work
    S-ditto
L-1 slice Ezekial toast with a slice of LF provolone cheese
    S-V-8 and fruit-orange or apple
S-2nd snack if needed as dinner will be late-boiled egg w/small piece cheese
    D-shrimp, salad, edemame
Lots of iced tea and water
  • B. oatmeal w/blueberries
    S. nothing
    L. the last of my Tomato Peanut Soup, red pepper strips

  • OK, so last night I marinated some Chicken breasts in Old Bay (our favorite) thinking I'd have left overs for lunch... I made 7 LARGE pieces.... between my son and his friend, there was not one piece left (I ate one piece). My son only ate one... his friend, devoured it! LOL...

Folks, have you tried OLd Bay? It's da bomb! And recently Old Bay came out with lemon & herb.. thats awesome as well, AND, both are SB friendly!!!!!!!1
  • Loriann, I saw in the other post you had made Old Bay chicken. Here in Maryland, you find it on lots of stuff. It is good with chicken. I haven't tried the lemon yet, I'll have to look for that.
  • We can't get Old Bay around here but I did find a copycat recipe.
  • Seems to me buying OLdbay is cheaper and easier than making the copy cat! I bet you can order it online!
  • I'll send you some Ruth!
