  • Having a thread of our tattoos or the ones we want to get when we reach a goal weight....

Here's mine. I got it when I was in college in 2003. It is a bit faded. I need to get the color redone. It used to have purple and yellow on the hat too.

  • Oh Shauna! That's so cute! I wish I wasn't sooo afraid of getting a tattoo they are so cool!

  • This is my first tattoo - got it for my 18th birthday....9 years ago...color is still perfect It's set up so that when I'm thin it jumps out of my bikini. Shows my Florida roots Oh - not a great photo, but colors are blue and turquoise.

This is my second tattoo - got it maybe 2002 while in college - It's actually red in color and on my lower back (wish I had picked a better spot now...) bottom line is that I am a proud scorpio. Oh...those are some of my many many freckles!!!

Third tattoo - this is a belated bday present (actually owed from 2 bday's ago) from my brother, that when I lose the weight he will get a hibiscus tattoo'd on me wherever I want it...haven't worked on design yet...but I'm excited for it.

P.S. sorry the photos are so large, I resized them, but I don't know what is going on ....
  • i gotta dig my pics up and resize them, most of my tats are on my back but i branched off and got one on my leg this year lol
    back soon with the pics

  • Cool, I love the posts in the 20 somethings!
  • Ha.

I was going to post my ink, but apparently I haven't posted enough for pictures. Give me a day or three and we'll see if I can catch up enough.
  • I can show you what I want to get when I get some money:
along with a quote from the movie, but that part I haven't gotten figured out yet, but so far I've narrowed it down to:
"It's all in the mind, you know"
    "Perhaps this is it."

    or

I would get both the sub, without a quote and a picture of the Nowhere Man (although there's a part at the end of the movie where he's holding a rose, and I would want that image instead)
"Peace! Peace! Supplant the doom and the gloom! Turn off what is sour! Turn into a flower and BLOOM! BLOOM! BLOOM! "
"Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!"
"If I spoke prose you'd all find out / I don't know what I talk about."

I watched this movie everyday for about a year or two when I was really young (like preschool age). Even now with a little prompting I can quote most of it. So it's sort of always with me and has had a rather large impact on my developing little brain.
  • cool idea i love yellow submarine
  • Here are mine! I love tattoos! I would like to get another one, maybe that can be my reward for reaching my goal ... someday!!

This one was taken while it was still healing, so you can still see some skin peeling! I need to get it touched up once summer gets here and I can wear flip flops and let it heal!

  • I got this tattoo a couple of years ago, but I'm getting another one...
My dad's favourite poem was "Footprints" and he passed away when I was nine of cancer, so I think I'm gonna get a little set of "footprints" and the last line of the poem: "It was then that I carried you."
  • This is the tattoo on my neck. I love this tattoo!

This will be my next one. It means my name Heather

  • Click on the "Progress Pictures" link in my signature (goes to another 3FC thread). I have full sleeves, as well as some tattoos on my back and ankles.
  • hehe, i dont think there's room for all of mine, so i'll just post a few

  • I dont have one yet, but I want one on my back
  • I have 3. I'll try to find pics or I'll take new ones!
