I just want to let the world know that I am back on track and ready to kick the rest of this fat in the butt (and thighs and tummy)!!!!!!!!! From March to September 2001, I was very diligent in my exercise and good eating habits, and consequently lost 30 pounds. October was back-to-school time for me. I was so miserable commuting daily on buses for three or more hours to a school that I hated with classes that I loathed. I didn't know what I was doing there and felt like I had no direction. Two weeks later I quit school when I decided to get married to an incredible man in Canada and leave my wonderful family, a $20,000 University scholarship, and the USA. From that time until January 13, 2002, I was busy working and preparing for the most wonderful day of my life which was my wedding day. Everything has been so amazing since that day except for one thing: I had completely lost all motivation to lose weight. It's so hard to push myself to lose weight when I'm so satisfied with my life.
Well, the motivation is back and I'm determined to finish my journey and reach my goal. It will be a challenge, but I am ready to accept it. I just now went out for a jog/walk for the first time in months and it felt GREAT! That feeling is exactly what my life is missing! It really did wonders for my self-esteem and I look forward to my next jog/walk on Monday!
