Morning girls! I thought since I was here I'd start the new thread! I mean with the new computer set up and new internet server - I kinda wanted to check it all out!!!! Woohoooo! It has awesome speed compared to my old dial up, aol!

Well, my "foot issue" has gotten worse. I did something to my foot this morning and I can't bear weight. I guess I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. I hate the doctor's office! So I am reporting weight today. Thank goodness I snuck on the scale earlier in the week. I am down 3lbs! I am very satisfied with that. I think I may go watch "Knocked Up" my latest from netflix. It would be a great diversion from this pain.

Likenoother - for your 3 pounds!!!! Once again, send those vibes my way for this week.... from here on out, I need to lose 3 pounds or more a week to meet my Halloween goal! OH... and WHAT A RIP OFF with the Gator game.... first of all, who the heck were the officials calling the game and where did they find them?? Gators better suck it up for next week.....

Hey gals!! ive been quite MIA this week....(no different from any other) Guilty?? I sure AM!! This past Wednesday was my birthday, and since my BF had to work on that day, he took me out on Sunday. We went to Chili's, and I swear I ate enough points to last me the entire decade It all went downhill from there....I told myself I would get right back on points starting Monday, *ahem* TOM was approaching and I felt like complete I kept telling myself "tomorrow" but it never happened. Here I am, Sunday evening, and I am MORE than ready to begin losing again. My goal for this week.....PLAN AHEAD!!! OMG...I cant tell myself enough times!! So I plan on planning for the next day, the night before.

This week my son had to get some blood drawn. After it was over (crying, screaming, and kicking) he got to pick a sticker, out of all the stickers there, he picked this one that said "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" Im not the type to believe in coincidence....and its like the sticker was speaking to me

Ive been taking BC pills for quite sometime now, and everytime TOM comes around, I fall back. So, although I too hate the doctors, I believe I need to change my pills....im hoping that my doctor will give me the ones that give you a period about 4 times a year, seeing with my prior history, she says im "not a good candidate" for BC pills.

Okok...enough ranting. I need a from everyone. hehe

Hope you all are having a wonderful start to the new week AND the new month!!

I was being a little "sentimental" today. I was thinking back over this past year. In January, I declared 2007 as "the year of change" for me and my family. Not sure why - I just know that I was ready for a change of some kind. Little did I know what a huge impact my "year of change" would have! I have changed my entire lifestyle (when it comes to my eating). I read in another post on another thread that no one on this board is on a "diet" because diets don't work - everyone on this board is changing their eating / portions / activity etc. for life. It's so true. I don't think of WW as a "diet". It's a life change. I can still treat myself - but I do it all in moderation. This has become engrained in my life that it's just "natural" to me now. We went to a Wedding Reception this weekend. I was able to have Wedding cake and not feel worried about it. But, I've learned about portions and being accountable for what I put in my mouth. So, this change in eating has brought forth a change in ME. Physically - I've lost 22 pounds this year alone (holy cow - a New Years Resolution that I've kept!!!!) 12 of those pounds have come off since Aug!, my resting heart rate is down, if I don't do some form of exercise in a day, I feel so sluggish by nighttime. Emotionally - my family has been through "h-e-double-hocky sticks" this year. That entire situation has made me such a strong woman. You'd think that it'd be so easy to crumble - but it empowered me!! I used to be so shy, so meek. But, now... I walk with my head up. I think that came from the idea that our small town would find out about the charges against my husband and they'd look down on ME as well, so I started making sure that before I went ANYWHERE in public that I was dressed nice, hair fixed, makeup done, and I walked with such pride because I knew my husband was innocent of all charges and I wanted the town to see how confident I was! Spiritually - this year I've become more grateful and more aware of God's presense in my life. I understand His un-ending love for me AND I understand now what it means that God knows the plans for our lives, whereas we can only see the here and now. We don't know what's coming tomorrow, but God does. And as long as I let Him have control of it - then I can feel at peace knowing that He's looking out for me, protecting me, loving me, etc.
So, 2007 is quickly coming to a close. I hope to have lost 50 pounds by the new year. This is my motivation for the next 3 months.... to go out of 2007, my self-professed year of change, with 50 pounds gone, having become a better, stronger woman - looking on to 2008 with a "BRING IT" attitude!

On another note. I did one of the workouts on TBL Workout DVD this morning - that one was over and I did half of another one. Evertime I felt like I couldn't go ANY further - I just closed my eyes and said outloud "210, 210, 210, 210" (which is where I want to be this Friday). Amazingly, it helped push me through!!!

LondonJulz - wow! Nice post! You sound like a phenominal (ms) women! Keep up that atittude! I'm sure you'll make your loss by 08!

PS, I just noticed the sticky note from Suzanne up top on the WW from home main board...... says this board is moving to Diet Central this weekend, so I just wanted to post something about it here so that when it goes missing no body freaks out thinking it got laid to rest....lol

LondonJulz- you HAVE come a long way and that's something that you take with you whether the numbers on the scale are exactly what you want- we can hit that October goal too!

I've been distracted with MIL visit (she's here till the 16th) and also kind of out of it with pain meds for my sciatica. I've been running over on points and teetering on the "what the hey, who cares!" precipice. I've been writing it all down and trying to keep my head on straight. I did go to water aerobics today, felt good. Tomorrow, my challenge is getting a workout in after classes. With MIL, my schedule is confused. Poor excuse, but there it is. I really want to see 2 lbs lower on Friday.

Got on the scale this morning and didn't lose or gain any! Stayed the same! However I am changing my WI to Fridays. So I'll post again on Friday with my WI. Hopefully I'll see a pound by then - because yesterday I jumped back into the eating plan and exercise - hard! (well, hard for me)

DH is taking the kids with him to the lake to walk so that I can have a night off from kid duty and watch TBL. He's done that every week so far for TBL and it's SO nice to just be able to sit and watch TV and not be having to chase after the kidlings.

So... I'll be going double time with Bob today to make up for not walking tonight, but it's all good - I enjoy my time with Bob.....

I got a handy dandy email reminder that TOM is due to arrive a week from yesterday! This means that "The Bloat" should be starting any day now. yay. This time around, I won't let it discourage me to see higher numbers on the scale, I'll just work harder so that when TOM has left - the numbers will not only go back to "pre-bloat", but they'll fall below that!!!


Ruthannie - my MIL distracts me too....but probably not for the same reasons as yours....lol
