Menus Sunday Dec. 30

  • Well, I am on day 3 of recommitment and I'm feeling fantastic! This morning was the first time in a long time I woke up without a headache! Drinking a cup of coffee now ready to post my plan.

    B: scrambled eggs, 3 strips bacon
    L: had a nap instead!
    D: Swiss Chalet chicken club wrap, diet Coke, french fries with special sauce.

    B-bacon, scrambled eggs...it is going to be hard to pass up the biscuits and gravy
    L-chicken salad
    D-turkey without the fixins

  • One day at a time...
    each day has been getting easier. When I am off program, I don't even care about trying, I don't even bother trying. But after a few days under my belt, I start to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel (no, it's not John Edwards, it's Robert Atkins standing there!) LOL

    So,here we go,

    Sunday Menu:

    breakfast- omelet with swiss cheese
    lunch- mixed baby lettuce salad with chicken breast and ranch dressing
    snack-(taking the 7 year old to the movies) peanuts and diet coke
    dinner- either the leftover lamb, or maybe pork chops with a veggie and 1/2 small baked potato

    Sugar Free decaf Vanilla International coffee has 5 grams of carb, if you use a little cream or 1/2& 1/2, it tastes really rich. Measure carefully, it's easy to double the amount and end up going overboard. Probably not good for Induction, or CALP except during reward meal.

    Breakfast; scrambled better-n-eggs with real bacon bits and fat free cheddar cheese.

    lunch,chicken stir fry.

    dinner;baked xtra lean pork chop and baked potato with lite marg.,spinach salad with ranch dressing and whole grain toast with lite marg.
    cantaloupe pieces.
