Good Morning!!!!!

Well, once again I am in a time crunch! What is it about this time of year? I had all my baking done and most of my gifts purchased before the end of Oct, and I still feel as if there are not enough hours in a day.

Summer, how is your daughter? The hockey get away sounds like fun, and you deserve a good break. Your daughter sounds so thoughtful, I hope mine grows up to be like that.

I've been in here a few times this morning and was a little nervous about a "newbie" starting a daily thread, so thought I'd wait a little longer.

Thanks for starting the Friday thread!

I'm so excited about going back to my group on Monday evening. Things are always more fun when I decide to participate instead of dancing around the edges...

I'm also grateful that you all are here. Today is our office "secret Santa" to-do and there are tables loaded with sugary treats (sugar, chocolate and peanut butter -- my downfalls) so instead of going to the shindig (which is optional anyway) I decided to work through lunch (read as: eat at my desk) and get my nails done at one o'clock and take the afternoon off. I'll only miss three hours and my boss has already okayed the request.

It just feels good to be able to turn away from food situations where I know I am too weak yet to resist.

Never be afraid to start a thread. I think it is great that a lot of different people start the threads. Usually it is the first one here in the morning that starts it. With everyones schedule being so busy lately it is hard to know who will start the threads today.
I give you so much credit for passing on the office party. That was great and you treated yourself in so many ways. Not only with the nails but with better food choices getting you closer to your goal. Sounds like you have a great boss to let you take the time off like that. It is things like this that will get us to goal.

You are right we are all a great bunch of good looking women. I love all the pictures that everyone has posted. It is great to actually put a face with everyone that you talk to. I know how you feel. I have had my shopping done for awhile also. But I still have wrapping to do and a lot of little things to do also. It is that time of year isn't it.
