Sunday, is JULY 1, the beginning of the last half of 2007, and six months til 2008...

  • where do YOU want to be on January 1 -- six months from today? I'd like to be a maintainer and not needing to set any specific goals for 2008 beyond being a successful maintainer. How about you?
  • In 6 months? I want to be 40lbs lighter. It took me 6 months to lose that last go around and I am hungry for more. I am going to try new things and feel the beauty of being powerful. I'm going to do this by living by the colorful feel good method I have been testing this past week. Eating foods that are fresh and coloful and using my senses to be in touch with the colors around me. I'm translating my art here, my stubborness, writing, sketching, and sewing, into something I can understand and follow.
  • I will be at goal and maintaining.
  • I want to be at 100 lbs lost. I have 55 to go so we'll see.
  • I think I will be a maintainer . I might have thirty pounds left at the most and I should be able to lose that in six months. I want to have some sort of exercise routine in place- like rock solid in place.
  • Great question Fran and thanks for the heads up. When I greet the New Year I want to be at goal weight, no knee pain, running three days a week and lifting with a serious trainer. That will give me an additional six months to work toward a more specific and measurable athletic goal in time for my 40th birthday. :

Maybe then I will open that bottle of champagne thats hanging around in the pantry...uhm, no maybe by then I will need to replace it with something better.
  • Hi Fran,
    Thnx for putting this up.
I want to be 6 kgs less AND able to do 5 pull-ups.

I'll have to put that up somewhere to keep reminding myself of it.

  • Ah, here's the thread! I answered this in the weekly chit-chat, but I'll restate it here: I want (a) to have my knees working right again - with that stubborn right kneecap back where it belongs, without surgery! (2) to be back at a level of strength I was at (3) like Rabbit - to lose 6 kgs, which contrary to my math skills in the other thread, I realize is 18 lbs, not 36
  • Errr....Pat, If I convert kgs to lbs the way I usually do I come up with like 13 lbs (times 2 + 10 %).

  • Ah, yes, when I use a calculator so do I! Told you my math skills are severely challenged - it's why I work with books.

    IN six months....

I have two kinds of goals, the one where I get to 140 by my 50th birthday, in January 2008, and the other where I am working out 80% of the time and eating clean 80% of the time. I am not looking for perfection, I am looking to be in better shape and staying there.
