  • i am a re-start as of tomm and need tons of support. anyone else restarting?
  • Newbie to 3chicks and restarting ww
I am a newbie to this 3 chicks forum and I am restarting WW again. I have been in a 10 week 6day a week kickboxing program and I didnt change my eating habits. So now that I have the exercise down I need to work on losing weight with diet. Iam am doing the flex points as I find I way over eat on the core. Cant wait for tomorrow and eating heathly.
  • Hey andrea......IT"S ME!!!!

I went back to WW on Friday but really am only starting today. I needed that extra push so figured I needed to go back. I was spending just as much on junk as I would have with WW so why not spend it and get healthy.

    Kim
  • I am a newbie to the 3FC forums and restarted WW last Weds. (is that close enough? lol). I had used WW in the past with success and then stopped and, of course, gained back the weight and some extra. I have also done the Suzanne Somers plan with great success but following my history, went off that too and yes, you guessed it, gained back even more.

I could use support as well.
  • hi!

thanks for responding b ally and allison! and kim of course! its funny kim i was gonna email you when i was finished on the forum.

i havent wi this much in years and im in pain bc of it. no more...im ready!!!

we can do this you guys!!
  • I am a restart today.. i HAVE to do this this time as there is money and a biggest Loser title on the line... We are doing a weight loss competition at work and the winner (at this point) gets 300+ dollars. We are waiting on one more possible entrant and that will take the pot to 375 for the winner!!! ME!!!

What I like to see is what other people are eating so I can get ideas on what to have myself.

Lori (sig is likely wrong I need to fix it and my break is over.. oops)
  • Good luck at the work challenge. It should help with the motivation. I am also starting today and have made a big pot of vegatable soup. As it is 0 points. And planning what you are going to eat for the day really helpls. Are you exercising? That will give a good boost too.
  • good ideas b ali!

welcome alantra! thats awesome motive! i wish i had a bl competition....
  • I'm not a restart, but am happy to welcome you all in! Stay on plan and ask questions....good luck!
  • Well day one was great.. OP and used only 2 flex points...

I did 1.5 hours of Yoga and starting tomorrow (no sneakers today) I will be doing a half hour walk at lunch if it is not raining.

I did not get my milk servings in though.. I dont' drink milk so I find it very difficult.

    Lori
  • hi guys!

alantra, i dont either i take a calcium pill 2x a day plus 1 milk.
  • Alantra, do you like yogurt? I have discovered that I can eat a yogurt a day and that helps me get some calcium in. Also I like chunks of cheese as a snack. Cottage cheese is also good, I prefer mine with some sliced tomato and a sprinkle of pepper. I am new to WW so not sure how many points that would be...Good Luck with the work challenge. Since I work all by myself not much of a challenge there, lol.

B Alli, I think I will "steal" your idea of the 0-Point soup and make a big pot of that this weekend. That would make a very filling meal with a side salad I am thinking. BTW, I go by Allie as well but I spell it a little bit differently.

How did everyone else do with points, eating and exercise yesterday?

Goals for today? I wore my sneakers so I could walk a bit more and of course, it snowed last night. It was over 70 degrees on Sunday and snowed on Monday, lol.

GOAL 1: I will walk at least 15 minutes today.
GOAL 2: I will eat what I planned for today. (no changing menus)

I will be on the computer at work until 6:00 tonight if anyone needs me, lol.

I hope you all have a wonderful, on-track, day!
  • hi ali!(im sorry i wrote dawn on the other thread i just read)

    so far so good!
  • Allie, I love the "0" point soup. If you put a bit of shredded mozzarella (1 ppoint worth) it makes an awsome snack especially when your really hungry but only have a few points for the day left and need something filling.

My point are going well today. It helps so much if I plan what I am going to eat. As for exercise I am doing a kickboxing class tonight. Get out some of my food aggresion.

    Have a great evening.
  • I hope it's not too late to join you
    Hello Ladies,

I think that I have choosen that right day to get my life back on track. I have been sort of ashamed to post on 3fc because I have fallen short on all of my attempts to lose weight and keep it off. But that's ok and today is a new day. No more dwelling on the past. Well it's really good to meet all of you ladies and I look forward to talking to and getting a kick in the butt from you all every once in a while. So what's going on? Are we going to post our WI, menus, etc. Well I think I will do that right now. I find it very hard to stick to a menu being a mother, college student, and working full time, but it's time to stop the excuses and do something about it. So here goes
