Default Question re program

Hi there,

In doing a weight loss search I found the Sonoma Diet Plan online. My question is are there many here who follow it online or did you buy the book at Chapters? I like the idea of being able to have a glass of wine on this plan as I make my own wine and love it. I'm a realist and if you tell me I can't have wine with my meal it's not going to happen! lol

Thanks for the info!

Hi Trish,

Welcome. I don't think anyone here is using the online version. Here is an earlier thread about the online version http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71161 Do check it out for yourself, but the bottom line was most people didn't seem to feel it was worth the money.

Right now this area is really slow I am sure due to the holiday slump. Please stick around and post and I am sure it will pick up after the first. If you start now, you'll be ahead of the game!!

I have a question as well, is it possible to do Sonoma w/o eating much meat? I still eat fish, eggs & milk products.

Sure , no problem. There are some good soy based products out there that I use from time to time that would be a good protein substitute for you. Dairy doesn't play a big part in Sonoma, so I wouldn't count on that too much to get your protein, but eggs and fish are both good choices. Tofu also can be a good substitute.. no one make any faces

I'm just using the book, I haven't seen any need for the website.

Yeah, you don't really need the website ... I don't have the book (though I had it out from the library for a while) so I've been using the website to get meal plans and to collect recipes, but once I've done that for a while I will probably unsubscribe.

There is a free sonoma yahoogroup too, and of course this forum!
